Today I showed my @FCDOGovUK colleagues from both Delhi and London The Wetlands which, as someone put it, are the Kidney of Kolkata.

We need to protect and preserve such unique ecosystems - here a buffer between the city and the Sunderbands and source of livelihood for many 💚

From developing community-led monitoring tools for wetlands and mangroves in #TamilNadu to collaborating on #BlueCarbon in Gujarat as part of the @UNOceanDecade Global Programme, the UK🇬🇧 is committed to its partnership with India 🇮🇳 on climate action.
