speaking of VIM specifically, it is great for SSH sessions, but I could not dream reaching the productivity in it that I would have in PyCharm or VS Code.

@lucasjellema @AMISnl That was a bit overdone ;) Locals are not bad, just too often badly used as plasters for unnecessary complexity. Combined with var files per env it's most often used for introduction of complexity in the wrong place, i.e.:
