I just discovered this for myself and it makes so much sense: “ams” in amsmath, amsthm, amsfonts, etc that we use to write mathematical equations, expressions… stands for American mathematical society 🫣

I broke my laptop charger while waking up, then I went to the bookstore to get a new charger in the winter storm…. And it was closed. I have a numerical methods homework deadline today and I’ve not even started it yet😭 the anxiety is what’s keeping me warm in the blizzard.

I started out with normed vector spaces, got into Lebesgue space, Banach space, Hilbert space… all was okay… elementary sobolev spaces were chill too… but what is this Besov space and triebel lizorkin spaces 😵‍💫
