18 വർഷം മാത്രം പഴക്കമുള്ള ധർമടം മണ്ഡലത്തിൽ പിണറായി വിജയന്റെ ലീഡ് 19247 ലേയ്ക്ക് കുറയ്ക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞ അബ്ദുൾ റഷീദ് മീഡിയകൾക്കും പൊതു സമൂഹത്തിനും മുൻപിൽ ഹീറോയായി കഴിഞ്ഞു. നാടെങ്ങും വലിയ സ്വീകരണമാണ് ലഭിക്കുന്നത്. ഏറ്റവും കടുത്ത ഇടത് വിരുദ്ധ തരംഗത്തിലും പിണറായി വിജയൻ അത്യാവശ്യം മികച്ച മാർജിനിൽ തന്നെ വിജയം നില നിർത്തിയെന്നത് ഇവിടെ ആരുടേയും കണ്ണിൽ പെടുന്നതേയില്ല.
ഇനി മറ്റൊരു കഥ പറയാം..
2021 ൽ ഇടത് സർക്കാർ രണ്ടാം ടേമിലേയ്ക്ക് മത്സരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. സ്വാഭാവികമായും 5 വർഷം ഭരിച്ച സർക്കാരിന് നേരെ ഭരണ വിരുദ്ധ വികാര വോട്ടുകൾ എങ്ങിനെ പോയാലും വരും.
ആ കാലമാവുമ്പോഴേക്കും ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടി പൊതുവേ മലയാളി സമൂഹത്തിൽ.. ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന വിശുദ്ധനായി ഉയർത്തപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.
സമൂഹ മാധ്യമങ്ങളിലും സർവ്വേകളിലും ആരാണ് പോപ്പുലർ നേതാവ് എന്ന ചോദ്യത്തിന് വമ്പൻ മേധാവിത്വം.
എവിടെ നോക്കിയാലും വിശുദ്ധനായ ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടി മാത്രം..
പുതുപ്പള്ളിയിൽ ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടി തന്റെ 50 വർഷങ്ങൾ തുടർച്ചയായി നീണ്ട വിജയത്തിന്റെ ആഘോഷ ലഹരിയിലായിരുന്നു. നോക്കണം ഒരായുസിന്റെ നല്ലൊരു ഭാഗവും ഒരേ സ്ഥലത്ത് എംഎൽഎ..!!
അവിടെയാണ് 2021 ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടിയോട് ഏറ്റുമുട്ടാൻ 31 വയസ് മാത്രം പ്രായമുള്ള ജെയ്ക് സി തോമസ് വീണ്ടുമെത്തുന്നത്.
''തോൽക്കാനായി ജയിച്ചവൻ,, ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടിയുടെ മുന്നിൽ ഇവനാര്. എന്ന പരിഹാസങ്ങൾ മാത്രം എവിടെയും..''
അമിത പ്രതീക്ഷകളുടെ ഭാരമില്ലാതെ അയാൾ,, ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടിയുടെ കീഴിൽ അര നൂറ്റാണ്ട് നിന്ന് തുരുമ്പെടുത്തു പോയ പുതുപ്പള്ളിയുടെ കഥ ജനങ്ങളോട് പറഞ്ഞു.
ഇലക്ഷൻ കഴിഞ്ഞു.. ഒടുവിൽ റിസൾട്ട്‌ വന്ന് നോക്കുമ്പോൾ..
വിശുദ്ധനായ ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടിയ്ക്ക് നൂൽപ്പാലം പോലൊരു വിജയം മാത്രം.
വെറും 9000 വോട്ടുകൾ..
ഏതാനും ചില പഞ്ചായത്തുകൾ നൽകിയ ലീഡ് ഒഴികെ ജനങ്ങൾ ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടിയെ കയ്യൊഴിഞ്ഞു.. ജയ്ക് സി തോമസ് ജയത്തിന് തൊട്ടടുത്തെത്തി കിതച്ചു നിന്നു..
ഇനിയൊരു അങ്കം കൂടി നടന്നാൽ നാണം കെട്ട് മടങ്ങേണ്ടി വരുമെന്ന് ഉറപ്പിച്ച കുശാഗ്ര ബുദ്ധിക്കാരനായ ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടി തന്റെ ജയത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ ഇനി പുതുപ്പള്ളിയിൽ നിന്ന് മത്സരിക്കാനില്ലെന്ന് നൈസായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു.
പക്ഷേ ഇന്ന് 19240 വോട്ടുകൾക്ക് തോറ്റ അബ്ദുൾ റഷീദിന് കിട്ടുന്ന കയ്യടികൾ അന്ന് ജയ്ക്കിന് കിട്ടിയില്ല. അൻപത്തിയഞ്ചാം വർഷവും ഒരു വിധേനെ പിടിച്ച് കയറിയ വിശുദ്ധനായ ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടിയ്ക്ക് മാത്രമായിരുന്നു അന്നും പൂച്ചെണ്ടുകൾ..
ജെയ്ക് വെറും തോറ്റവൻ മാത്രമായിരുന്നു അന്നും..
ഇത് നമ്മുടെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ കണ്ണിന്റെ പ്രശ്നമാണ്..
