Bhadrachalam temple under attack:

Bhadrachalam is a very ancient Hindu temple. According to Hindu belief, Bhagavān Rāma lived here. The temple owns 890 acres of land.

But in the last few decades, hundreds of Churches have been built on temple land. These are ILLEGAL constructions. Through these churches, they are converting locals and devotees who visit this temple.

Temple authorities have thus far lodged 46 written complaints with the Government. But so far, no action has been taken, no illegal construction has been stopped and no FIR has been registered.
