Well, the answer would be that it’s not really bad if you think about it. The issue was that D1 and D2 had trained us to watch the film with a very special lens. *SEMI-SPOILER* - So while in D3 the minute details were there to show the mental state of each character, our the special lens from D1/D2 made us expect that those somehow contribute to the twist in the end. D3 actually did a very good job of showing the consequences of living with that guilt on the back of the head for the characters.
It doesn’t really matter what someone’s previous CTC was. One of the most common reasons people look for new opportunities is because they are underpaid. Basing a new offer on their current CTC is essentially saying, “We’re going to continue underpaying you because you’ve already been underpaid.”
Interview the candidate, understand what they bring to the table, and decide whether they are worth the salary they are asking for. If a company ends the conversation based solely on “current CTC vs expected CTC,” then it is looking for headcount, not talent.
Respectfully, we need to stop expecting people to come back out of pure Nationalism or based on worsening perception abroad. If a reverse brain drain needs to happen, India needs a stronger long term plan like how Taiwan did 1973 (and thus TSMC exists now). We also need to make taxes work for common people and not just have parties doing the blame game.
Pointing out real issues isn’t spreading hate or racism. I agree that anti-India racism is at an all time high, I face it a lot online. But that does not mean I ignore what’s wrong and blindly glorify India. I’m proud of the country’s achievements while acknowledging its shortcomings
@jasveer10 Have you considered that the real problem is the insane 2-3 month notice period standard being set? That gives a lot of time for one to change their mind, or, receive call backs from other applications they may have made. Nobody applies for one single job and calls it a day.
Microsoft Edge was my preferred browser for a while. But today, I stopped using it after it got too intrusive! I do not want Microsoft auto creating an account for me with my work email!
@GraceRandolph Fewer trailers please, but released to public. There are other ways to stay in the news rather than giving away most of the spotlights of the movie in the trailers
