@azizkahmad Very nice, I still don't understand how this was technically feasible tho? New power plant was built? The capacity of current power plants increased? New installed renewables? I know for a reason it's none of these. Don't get me wrong, just trying to understand as an engineer!
Bravo brother π―. 100% agreed. I have always been proud about the fact that Kurdistan is a diverse region with yezidis being a part of it. There is a small percentage that nobody sides up with. You can also choose to focus on the good and hence promote unity which makes us all stronger.
We are against anything that threatens coexistence in the KRI. I believe it's always better for all of us to unite. Even if you believe there are extremist muslims that have such thoughts we all can fight against them collectively. There is no need for stating kurds specifically it doesn't help with anything but spreads hate between different ethnicities in the region. Don't forget we are always stronger together and our voices are louder.
Qasim Shesho, the Yazidi KDP military commander in Sinjar, has sparked controversy with what some consider an βinsultβ to Islam and Prophet Muhammad. On the anniversary of the Yazidi Genocide in Sinjar, he stated:
"As long as Muhammad's religion persists, the disaster [for us] will not end. I take full responsibility for my words here because their religion is the enemy of our religionβ¦β
Shesho commands the Yazidi Peshmerga, a force of approximately 10,000 fighters based in the Sinjar mountains. Previously, Shesho publicly announced his departure from the KDP, but this turned out to be a tactical move over financial and material demands. He rejoined the party after meeting with Masoud Barzani, suggesting his resignation was a pressure tactic to secure his demands from Barzani.
@ShaswarQadir Well, I can't help it not thinking that you actually like that to happen, regardless I would like you to know that this autonomy in the region was achieved by paying blood and we will protect it with blood.
No one will rule us.
The @KurdistanRegion Presidency was delighted to host diplomats and political parties for a dinner with the vice presidents. Chief of Staff @Fawzi_Hariri thanked international partners for their support to the people of Kurdistan and highlighted efforts to foster greater unity.
