The monkeys, Patrat line, Unfezant, etc.. the starters are a bit awkward too (though I wouldnt call them bad designs necessarily), but compounding their general weakness, yeah, youre stuck with a bunch of duds

@arvalis @bromojumbo @TheAquali @CentroLeaks I agree that Gen 5 has a lot more misses than normal, but few good ones? Noooo way, thats just wrong. Hydreigon, Bisharp, Volcarona, Gigalith, Haxorus, Chandelure, Zoroark, Genesect, Scrafty. Literally all top tier designs.

@Riddler_Khu The way I interpret this is, Faithful BW remakes + a "Legends/Paradox" game that can be interpreted as BW3. AKA, its a legends game in the future, which ties to PLA's past theme akin to the Paradox pokemon being past/future.

@JoeMerrick Yeah, the wording is vague. On one hand, the wording seems to be excluding moves that just dont exist in that game (Pursuit in SwSh/SV for example), so presumably things like Weavile can still relearn Knock Off for SV, but idk

I'm also not sure how the legality checks in SV are

Will a Pokemon be able to relearn moves it cant otherwise get in the game (so long as the move exists) Weavile transferred into SV be able to relearn Knock Off, but not Pursuit, for example?

This determines whether the feature is good.
