Chutes just hit $294K revenue per trillion tokens in a single day.
A year ago that number was basically zero.
They got there by cutting 7 models and a bunch of low-value usage instead of chasing volume. Less noise, way better unit economics.
Most teams would’ve just added more GPUs and hoped for the best. These guys did the opposite.
@chutes_ai 🪂
75x difference in market cap seems a bit too wide
@chutes_ai and @togethercompute may not be the same in terms of scale and enterprise/institutional client engagement/base
im simply suggesting the market capitalization of both may converge over time 🪂
openrouter rankings don’t tell the full story
subsidized providers serve free inference so the general public is incentivized to use what’s free
none of the providers offer what chutes offers, tee + e2ee + tdx + cc + fully open source + quantum resistance + mathematically proven data privacy etc.
but here’s an idea of where chutes ranks currently - given it doesn’t provide free inference anymore.
back in may 2023 together ai was worth 140 million, 50% more than chutes ai is worth today
as of april of this year @togethercompute is worth 7.5 billion usd post money
together ai did a 54x in about 35 months
it’s important to note that both providers serve inference elsewhere as well; not just via openrouter
@RadoTsc@DrocksAlex2@chutes_ai only saying this cuz i don’t believe advertisement and marketing need a budget
if the product and tech is really good it’ll speak for itself
just like Hyperliquid
@RadoTsc@DrocksAlex2@chutes_ai i wouldn’t want to get paid
i also wouldn’t want others to get paid
ill keep doing this for free and so will many others 🪂
