Once you learn and practice this text, when God is working thru someone like Trump you trust them. John 10: 27, 28 “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one can snatch them from My hand.” Start asking and listening more. It’s a great way to go.
And to add to my previous comment, for me Sabbath has nothing to do with church attendance on any given day. It is only about rest. A weekly physical rest that my old body needs and appreciates. What others do with it is between them and God. None of my business. My job is simple. Be His sheep, hear His voice. Go with it.
@Joel7Richardson Do you not understand that what is being hotly debated now is just another 60 day deal? This is not the end all. And you still don’t know what is in this deal. So halt your judgements so you can retain credibility.
@Joel7Richardson@YouTube Do we have a fair weathered friend here? Perhaps just judge prematurely. Let it play out. All this over rumored details of another 60 day deal?
As a lifelong SDA, I find this post fascinating. I am not a young person and more of a Badventist. And being totally indoctrinated from birth, I know exactly what you are talking about in every key point. Your main points and conclusions are not wrong in my opinion. And if you question anything about Sabbath, you will be tossed out quickly. The primary teachings are very fear based. Disagree or challenge any position and you are labeled as deceived. That’s probably true of most Christian denominations. To me, this brings up an even bigger issue. The term “day of worship”. Where did that come from? You don’t see that anywhere in the Bible that I know of. So the big argument amongst Protestants is over a term that isn’t Biblical - day of worship. If you read the 4th Commandment it only addresses REST. Nothing about worship, since that is addressed in the previous Commandments. So go to church whenever you want. Who cares? But your key point in that SDA’s have used the Sabbath to equate it with THE seal of God as a horrible thing - absolutely correct. The Holy Spirit is the Seal of God just as the Mark of the Beast is the seal of Satan. And yet any argument over the old Covenant seems to center only on the 4th Commandment. That makes no sense. No Christian discards the other 9 Commandments. The easy solution is for each person to go ask God about it. And then be open to however He responds. You want a secure soul? All you need is John 10:27,28. “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one can snatch them out of My hand.” Great post!
@beholdisrael Please, please stop thinking you have it all figured out. Hardly anyone understood or expected any given prophecy to play out the way they thought. We know very little until it actually happens.
@Joel7Richardson Or, Trump is called an anointed by God to do exactly what he is doing. Moses was NEVER popular while he was alive. Nor was Elijah. Instead of thumbing thru your Bible trying to g to figure it out, drop to your knees and ask Jesus what He thinks. And then just listen.
