Honestly, this Konaté situation needs assessing. How are we becoming a club known for our prime players leaving on a free transfer?
Why are we leaving it so late to negotiate contracts? If a player is asking for too much and we don’t want to pay, sell him. Why in the hell are we letting them run down their contracts and leave on a free?
Konaté in this market is a minimum £50 million player. If he didn’t sign a new contract by the end of last season, he should have been sold. Granted, we would have got a lower fee, but it’s still a fee. I’m amazed Hughes and Edwards are this naive.
Players like Jones are out of contract next season and I guarantee he leaves on a free.
This cannot go on; it’s not sustainable.

“A little personal thing from me to you, is thank you very much.
My dad past away last year through Dementia.
He’s the reason why we’re all Liverpool fans.
The last time i saw him smile, was me singing your song,
So i’ll say no more than that, Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️”.
