For anyone asking, a coach can challenge a specific part of the play and refs can overturn a separate part. Not sure if it’s always been the case but it has been for as long as I can recall. Nothing egregious here.

Branch claims Kansas City’s players continuously physically and verbally abused him during Sunday night’s game which is what lead to his post game outburst on JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Detroit believes a suspension on Branch would encourage teams to single out players and bully them in hopes of getting them to have an outburst similar to Branch’s, which would be a bad look for the league’s image.
