🇺🇳 @UN General Assembly unanimously adopted the resolution “Education for Peace”, initiated by #Armenia 🇦🇲 & co-sponsored by around 100 Member States from all regional groups.

The resolution highlights the vital role of education in building peaceful, inclusive societies & promoting a culture of peace & non-violence.

#Armenia & #US have SIGNED the Framework Agreement between the Republic of Armenia & the United States of America on Strategic Cooperation Concerning the Trump Route for International Peace & Prosperity (#TRIPP).

Pursuant to the implementation of the understanding reached in Yerevan on May 26, 🇦🇲FM @AraratMirzoyan & 🇺🇸@SecRubio signed the Agreement remotely. The Agreement was signed by the U.S. Secretary of State in Washington on June 1 & by the Foreign Minister of Armenia in Yerevan on June 4.

This is another important step in realizing the Armenia-US vision of a peaceful, secure & prosperous Armenia & region.

Subsequently, Armenia & the United States will work consistently to complete the necessary domestic procedures for the Agreement’s entry into force, with the aim of ensuring the implementation of TRIPP on the ground within the shortest possible timeframe.

We welcome Türkiye's decision to lift the bans on bilateral trade with Armenia, which is another outcome of the normalization process of relations between #Armenia & #Türkiye.

This decision is significant from the perspective of expanding trade & ties between the business circles of the two countries, promoting economic connectivity & ensuring peace & prosperity in the region.

We would like to emphasize that this is an important step towards the development of full-fledged & normal relations between the two countries, which can find its logical continuation through the opening of the Armenia-Türkiye border & the establishment of diplomatic relations.
