For those claiming the Blue Angels incident yesterday was perfectly fine, here is their lead pilot, Captain Adam Bryan, saying it was unsafe and that they will work to make sure it doesn't happen again.

The demonstration teams have a waiver reducing themselves to 500 feet as opposed to the normal 1500 minimum for craft traveling faster than 245 knots.
