The GAC had clearly directed YouTube to take down the video “Can Hindus Eat BEEF? | Kerala Story 2 EXPOSED” by Dhruv Rathee, within 24 hours.

This Order was passed pursuant to the direction of the Hon’ble Delhi High Court dated 03.07.2026 in W.P.(C) 8617/2026.

Despite this, the video continues to remain publicly available.

Jacob is trying to distort between right to privacy and police’s primary duty of maintaining law and order.

Under whose orders, you ask? The same police whose job is to stop your “peaceful” protesters from turning Jantar Mantar into another free-for-all of stone-pelting, property damage, and selective amnesia about previous riots.

Privacy as a fundamental right? Puttaswamy never said your face becomes sacred the moment you decide to stand in a public space, scream at the government, and get filmed by a hundred phones including your own media colleagues. You have zero reasonable expectation of privacy when you’re out there wanting to be seen.

False Status Reports Have Consequences. Accountability Has Begun.

A major step towards judicial accountability.

After the Hon'ble Delhi High Court observed that @RanaAyyub's tweets were communal, derogatory, and defamatory, the Ld. Magistrate called for a report from the DCP regarding the Investigating Officers who, on three separate occasions, filed false status reports claiming that the impugned tweets were "no longer available" on X.

The truth was otherwise. The tweets were withheld only within India, and only after the Hon'ble Delhi High Court passed specific directions.

The encouraging development is that disciplinary proceedings have now been initiated against the concerned Investigating Officers for filing those false status reports.

We sincerely hope this serves as a strong precedent and deterrent, ensuring that no Investigating Officer in the future dares to file a false status report before any court.

# Incident & Complaint Details: Goods Carrier Truck No. JH09BA3535 (Owner: Dipak Singh, Driver: Shiva Yadav), while returning to the garage after servicing, the truck was wrongfully intercepted by Officials at the Rampur Checkpost in Paschim Bardhaman. The driver was illegally harassed and pressured for bribes and upon refusal, the vehicle was seized and an unlawful demand of ₹22,000 was raised towards a tax already abolished by the State Government.

# Action Taken - Acting swiftly on complaints of extortion and abuse of power, the Transport Department has taken immediate and decisive action.
The erring Motor Vehicle Inspectors (MVIs) posted at the Rampur Checkpost - Shri Nazimul Haque and Shri Anupam Banerjee have been placed under immediate Suspension with immediate effect under Rule 7(1)(a) of the West Bengal Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1971.
The complaints have been formally referred to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for a thorough criminal inquiry and necessary legal action.
Directives are being implemented to ensure that wrongfully detained vehicles are released and that harassment of Transporters is dealt with an iron fist.

A Stern Warning: Let this serve as a clear message to all corners of the Administration. Any Official found indulging in corruption, harassment or illegal gratification will face the strictest possible disciplinary and legal consequences.
