This is to remind you, that I love my nation and I treasure my faith.

But nothing comes close when it comes to my loyalty to my Creator, not a country, not a family member, not a precious visa.

I’m a Muslim first.

@Osi_Suave Look at what, dakun? Is that a treason or any offence at all? At least people do say God first or God over everything.

Clarion call for immediate action, arrest and prosecute the young man

Cc @PoliceNG @OfficialDSSNG @jibwis_Nigerian

A very dangerous video is circulating showing some Agaji members leading a morale song and making inciteful statements. This is highly condemnable and should not be tolerated. It clearly violates every principle of peaceful coexistence.

[𝑰𝒅𝒓𝒊𝒔 𝑨. 𝑶𝒏𝒊 PhD @IdrisAOni1]

This is a language of terrorism. @PoliceNG must investigate this and help ensure that this kind of evil ideology does not spread any further. These boys are supposed to be a part of the Hisbah police if my guess is right. If they are trained with this evil ideology, then, we would never see the end of terrorism in the country. If this has been going on for long, then, it partly explains why terrorism has lasted till now. If it is not stopped, then, we are in for a long painful ride.

May Allah protect us all. Āmīn.

This in fact has no basis in Islam, not in the Qur'ān, not in the Sunnah and not inthr foundations of our Islamic creed.

According to a translator, this person is saying:

He should be given AK47
He would then go to Enugu
The land of the infidels
On Sunday when they are worshiping and clapping
He would then open fire
Rudu dududup (sound of gun)
So that he can klll the infideels

He asked to be given AK47 again
So that he can go to Jos
And klll more infiddels
That is the training

@Osi_Suave To me, Wike's politic is even understandable, because he literally owns the real pdp as of today and they don't have presidential candidate, the one that amazed me most is a presidential candidate that went to another party presidential campaign office inauguration to support him

This is what happens when arrogance meets profound ignorance.

Islam does not teach that passing wind disconnects you from God. That is a lazy and childish argument.

In Islam, passing wind is not a sin. It is a normal human biological function. It breaks a temporary state of physical readiness called Wudu. Wudu is a specific preparation required for one highly formal act of worship, which is the daily prayer known as Salah.

For those of us that have sense and it’s still working, imagine you are invited to a formal meeting with a head of state. There is a strict protocol for how you present yourself. You do not walk into a royal court lacking basic physical discipline.

God is the King of Kings. The Salah is a formal, scheduled audience with Him. Breaking wind violates the physical protocol of that specific meeting. It means you must step away, wash up, restore your focus, and then return to the prayer mat.

It does not mean your connection to God is cut off. A Muslim can remember God, make personal prayers, seek forgiveness, and speak to the Creator at any moment of the day, whether they have Wudu or not. Even falling asleep breaks Wudu. Does that mean a sleeping person is disconnected from God?

To make this even clearer, a woman who is menstruating is exempted from the formal Salah for days, yet she is never disconnected from God. She can supplicate, remember God, and talk to Him freely at any time. The spiritual bond remains intact.

You are rejecting a religion based on a cartoonish misunderstanding of it. You thought you were making a profound point, but you only revealed that your logic cannot tell the difference between formal ritual discipline and a spiritual relationship.

Common sense is indeed not common anymore. May the Almighty guide you.

Allah knows best.

THE BABY HAS ARRIVED - PRE-NAMING ANNOUNCEMENT

Empire of Scars: The Legendary History of Nigeria

My Dear Friends,

At last, the cry of a long-awaited baby has been heard!

Our baby, whom we collectively conceived and whose intellectual foetus has been growing in the womb of history for FOUR WHOLE YEARS, has finally been delivered. What began as an idea has matured into an heirloom; what started as a dream has found its way into the hands of destiny.

Four years of sweat. Four years of sleepless vigils. Four years of descending into the deepest caverns of our storied past, to bring our history into the light in its purest and richest form.

Today, the cord is cut. The cry has been heard.

Ladies and gentlemen, the baby is here!

That baby for whom your congratulations have been so warm, your encouragement so reassuring, and your anticipation so infectious is none other than our long-awaited book project:

EMPIRE OF SCARS: THE LEGENDARY HISTORY OF NIGERIA.

This book is our attempt to bring those stories home, to illuminate the shadows of our past, interrogate the scars of our journey, and preserve the lessons from yesterday that tomorrow must not be allowed to forget.

But, dear friends, every child deserves a befitting naming ceremony, and a project of this magnitude must not be ushered into the world through the back door.

Prepare yourselves for a dignifying launch, one worthy of the labour, the vision, and the historical significance of this noble undertaking.

Yet, before we discharge this bouncing baby from the delivery ward and formally present it to the world, there is a peculiar privilege reserved for our friends in the diaspora. They shall have the first glimpse of this beautiful creation, a taste of the intellectual harvest we have laboured for four years to bring home.

And then, my dear friends here with me at home, our own copies shall follow at the grand launch and beyond as the princes and princesses that we are.

The scars are real. The stories are older than the scars. And the griot has found his voice.

Empire of Scars is finally here.

Shall the LEGENDARY J.O.E begin?
