Proud moment! Our impact in Indonesia recognised by @BillGates and @melindagates, to me this is what makes GO-JEK a "Super App", the difference we make to peoples lives.
@Swiggy terrible experience. 2 hour delay in delivery and no communication at all. At least there should be proper communication. Even though the delivery exec had decided to not deliver, your automated chat kept assuring delivery in 5 minutes.
It was a huge wish to watch a Japanese movie with as wonderful cinematography as the one below, on the big screen. Hardly any theatres screen Japanese movies. Today, am not in Japan, but this wish has come true. How spectacular, such vivid colors, such good use of the light!
How can someone make cinema look so good?! Never seen anything look so stunning, gorgeous and beautiful on screen. Released way back in 1995! What a hidden gem, https://t.co/Wvh7MGybRP Lucky the folks who actually watched this on the big screen, must have been unforgettable.
On the right is one of the places she goes to as she travels the world. https://t.co/PaCSU7mHKJ Didn't even know such a place existed! What a stunning place!
Thirty years apart, Japanese movies still have the same amazing cinematography, and the leads still write letters, even in 2024 :-) Left is 1995 "Love Letter" and Right is 2024 "April, Come She Will". Glad that some things never change!
Amidst all this frenzy about Coldplay, they are my fav band; sad knowing they won't be around in a few years, but then to discover a new band, catching up on their fantastic playlist! Life never ends! When one thing ends, another begins! https://t.co/uPoLEnX38K
@GurpriyaSidhu Reminds me of how I felt the same, until I took the walk down a path in Nikko, little shops on one side, beautiful golden sunlight, wide open sky. That’s when it hit me there, no amount of 2D can ever come close to the multi -dimensional experience of just experiencing a place.
My early mistake as an EM was not being comfortable with abstractions regarding architecture/systems. I needed to know everything. Which was a strength as a dev. But as a manager, it took time away from other important things. So many things to unlearn when you switch roles!
The use of the different forms and colours of light in this movie is just amazing. Sunlight, light by the window, light from the fire, light from a small cycle bulb in the cycle parking scene! Noburo Shinoda, sad that you are no more, but you have left behind a lasting legacy.

@SumedhaUppal The ryokan onsen experience is Hakone is such a unique experience. Very expensive but includes dinner and breakfast and private onsen. We did one night here on our way to Kyoto. Did the fenicular and the cable car. Two nights better to fully explore the natural beauty of Hakone.
@SumedhaUppal We enjoyed the rural and cultural areas more than the city. Asakusa in Tokyo with its culture and history, Nikko for its wonderful nature and magnificent shrine , Hakone for its nature, Kyoto again for the beautiful shrines and culture/history. The breath taking Himeji castle.
There’s something about being raised in Bombay, especially in the 90’s and 00’s (pre social media era) that I cannot explain to people who moved there later as adults. The socio-cultural landscape, absence of homogeneity & trauma that created cohesion in communities was special.
@headcrabcrowbar@iamsaksham05@adt007ad_@thekaipullai @laks1985 @maheshjayanth Agree, have first hand experience of my service centre trying to fleece me by saying panel has failed, took it to a local repair shop and they diagnosed it as backlight failure. Replaced backlight and problem solved! Panels don’t fail easily.
I love the interviewers who truly welcome you and look to have an engaging discussion. Some just try to get on with it, which is something I understand, folks take so many interviews, it's hard to be warm and personal always! But to the ones who still do, you are special!
@sheetaverma Form is temporary, class is permanent.
You’ve got this. One day at a time, one foot in front of the other
You’ll look back on this period with a wry smile soon enough
15 yrs back, "What would you be if not a programmer?", and I said jokingly, "Psychologist", as I would have been debugging humans instead! Little did I know that years later, as a manager, debugging people would actually be a key role for me! :-)
