Will you help me stop proposed rules that could put India's community dogs, wild animals and countless others at risk of painful laboratory experiments? We have less than 10 days to act.
The thought of a trusting dog or a monkey suffering in a laboratory breaks my heart. India is already advancing modern, non-animal science. We must move forward, not backwards.
Please join me. Animals cannot speak up for themselves, but we can speak up for them. ❤️

Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear a collar and serve with four paws.💔
After 11 years of dedicated police service, this brave K9 officer received a farewell with full honours.
The entire police unit stood in tears, including her handlers, who had shared years of duty, loyalty and countless memories with her.
She wasn't just a police dog. She was a colleague, a protector, a loyal companion and family. ❤️
Watching her handlers break down is heartbreaking. 💔
Her duty has ended, but her loyalty and service will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace, brave soul. Your final salute is well deserved.🙏

DRAFT RULES ON ANIMAL EXPERIMENTATION, 2026, MUST BE WITHDRAWN!
Our dogs, our cats, our cows, our monkeys and every other animal we share our country with are not disposable. They are not objects to be experimented on without proper safeguards. They are living beings who feel pain, fear and suffering, and they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
The Draft Rules on Animal Experimentation, 2026, threaten to weaken the safeguards meant to protect them. Animals could be sourced from open markets and unregistered establishments, while institutions could approve their own experiments through internal committees.
Who will protect these animals if the safeguards meant to protect them are weakened?
We cannot allow this to go unchallenged.
📩 Write to the Member Secretary, CCSEA @Dept_of_AHD , at [email protected]
Demand the withdrawal of the Draft Rules on Animal Experimentation, 2026. Make your objection heard, and urge others to do the same.
India must move towards humane scientific research and alternatives to animal experimentation, not weaken the protection animals deserve.
THESE DRAFT RULES MUST BE WITHDRAWN.

Dear Member Secretary,
I am writing to register my strong objection to the proposed Draft Rules on Animal Experimentation, 2026, and to urge their immediate withdrawal.
India has a moral and legal responsibility to protect animals from unnecessary pain, suffering and exploitation. Any revision to the existing regulatory framework must strengthen animal welfare safeguards, not dilute them.
The reported provisions permitting animals to be sourced from open markets and unregistered establishments, along with greater reliance on internal institutional committees for approving experiments, raise serious concerns about transparency, independent oversight and accountability.
Animals are sentient beings, not expendable resources for scientific advancement. Research must be guided by ethical responsibility, stringent independent scrutiny and a commitment to developing and adopting scientifically validated alternatives to animal experimentation.
I therefore urge the CCSEA and the concerned Ministry to withdraw the proposed Draft Rules, undertake meaningful consultations with animal welfare organisations and independent experts, and introduce a framework that places animal welfare and ethical scientific progress at its core.
Scientific advancement and compassion are not mutually exclusive. India should aspire to lead in both.
I request that this objection be formally recorded and considered before any further action is taken on the proposed Rules.
Yours sincerely,
Prakash W. Kamat,
(Vice President,Goa Animal Federation @GoaAnimalfedn )
@BJP4India I was BJP supporter given vote to BJP ....Govt who dnt support animals we dnt stand with that govt...BJP made stray dogs life hell...BJP already lost animal lovers vote for future.....
People throw stones at a street dog for barking or crying at night because they think its a bad omen.
When a theft happens, the same people blame the dog for not barking.
Superstition makes people ignore logic. The problem was never the dogit was the mindset..
@gharkekalesh Dog haters ko lagta hai saari road building inke baap ki hai ....koi bhi permanent nahi sabne marna hai...ghamandi log......khud 4 baar khaayenge dog se zyada dog haters are barking.....Aise kar rahe hai jaise pehli baar dog dekh rahe hai
