Mehrotra ‘memory demand is tremendous. Supply is constrained. We see 2027 even tighter with respect to 2026’ What we are building here first wafers out in 2027, production ramping in 2028 timeframe. Clay, New York, production ramping, by 2029 to 2030 timeframe.
$STX Seagate said most nearline exabytes are already allocated into calendar 2028, with some discussions extending into 2029 and beyond. Management framed that as evidence of durable demand and stronger supply assurance for customers.
@smartertrader Looks like they bumped the estimate for IPO 🤣Results are actually excellent on you basis and the demand is strong, it’s the analyst estimate.
Just a random thought, maybe someone can do a startup to solve this:
Interesting trend I’m seeing is human-recognized content farm spam sites like “Ad Hoc News”.
Flooding tens of old/repeated misleading AI news every day on specific companies for views.
But it’s treated highly + fresh to AI retrieval. So LLMs like Gemini get polluted citing that data.
Then you have people without technical backgrounds like college students making writeups on things they don’t understand, using AI.
Then LLMs get polluted in training/retrieval with that too, so you see people conflating the wrong technical nuance like comparing single channels of a cw dfb laser array vs. single high power lasers outputs.
So you have a feedback loop of low tier AI feeding into frontier AI. With model retrieval getting contaminated.
@smartertrader@smartertrader thx so much for all the updates, I am a big fan. Wanted to ask if company like Oklo can do secondary before the results on Nov 13th. Anyone can do anything but typical practice is to announce results first
@Pharmdca@anandragn@alphacharts365 Huge respect for calling this out. I see many with comments post positive negative reaction vs guiding those who follow them on the essence of results and short term vs long term opportunity. I call them genius traders they were out before the negatives and drumroll if positive
