@glenncatteeuw it's a terminology thing, the people you describe I call creative technologists. I meant devs like in programmers, not necessarily doing anything visual or audio anytime in a year.
But I don't think AI would reveal creativity in people, if they are creative we already knew.

@akella I guess many factors come into play. The value us human put in the teacher, the respect we have for them improves our learning too. An our will to learn more.
ie: you're a good teacher yourself, after watching one of your streams... I came back.

@akella you can get that by chatting with an AI though, the video format just can't evolve. Also as humans we often need different explanations for the same concept for it to click in our heads. A maths teacher will fail to teach you something when an other will succeed.

@akella it's like a dictionary, there's all the info you need in there, but it's not as fun as being taught by a human. The end user is a human, so pauses, in-depth explanations of even simple concepts, extra examples... are still needed.

@edankwan @astronaughtyart Yeah but houdini is a special case. You just hire someone who owns a license when you need procedural or sims. Rest of the time blender is more efficient anyways.
