@Ab2nour89 Studying the cell cycle during this project, conviced me that cell cycle genes change quite a lot between different cell types, so I expect there can be surprises by checking specific genes. But we didn't specifically validate the genes you mentioned
My last publication was out the previous week, hope you can find it useful, it is a mixture of deep-learning, sc-RNA-seq, and RNA velocity allowing us to analyze the cell cycle at a very high resolution.

👏 Congratulations to @molina_lab for their article on a new method to study #cell cycle which does not require in vivo studies, does not disrupt cells and with better generalizability through #deeplearning and #RNAseq !

Our work on regulation of transcription reactivation exiting mitosis with former colleagues @arriba87 and @molina_lab is now out on PLOS Computational Biology

When it was revealed that the data used in the paper was fabricated, all of the paper’s authors asked for the study to be retracted. They all deny responsibility, saying that they were duped rather than dishonest https://t.co/Xc8wRAyX51
Interested in benchmarking your novel single-cell tools ? Our multi-modal single-cell simulation engine dyngen is now out at https://t.co/HCjeZzbeLz with novel applications in trajectory inference and alignment, RNA velocity and single-cell regulatory network inference
You did a lot of bioinformatics, high-dimensional data analysis, or theory in your PhD. For postdoc, how about using what you learned to explore new principles to explain and treat heterogeneous tumors? #Stockholm https://t.co/cNmk8qrS35
Next week kick off CAGI6 with the first batch of genome interpretation challenges: clinical genomes, gene panels, and coding variation (pathogenicity, function, stability). The next batch will include noncoding variation and polygenic risk scores. https://t.co/Vw5xuEn9dz
You only know what your measurements say about your system to the extent that understand the noise in your measurements. This applies especially to scRNA-seq data, which is subject to severe sampling noise. See here our attempt at solving this problem: https://t.co/9SynpyPC3W 1/n
Do you want to do a PhD on #ComputationalBiology and #MachineLearning at the heart of Europe in a great and exciting scientific environment? We offer 2 PhD positions! Join our lab at the IGBMC! (Any help with dissemination is greatly appreciated):
