Два дні на Майдані Незалежності тривала акція “Полон за наказом не має тривати роками”.
Родини військовополонених захисників Маріуполя вимагали від влади терміново знайти реальні важелі впливу для повернення своїх рідних.

❗🇩🇪Nearly 1,400 German companies continue to operate in Russia, generating around €20B in revenue last year. Major players such as #Metro, #Beiersdorf (maker of Nivea and Eucerin), and #Hochland justify their continued presence as an act of “social responsibility” toward employees, partners, and consumers. Metro still runs 91 stores employing 8,000 people; Beiersdorf earns about 1.5% of its global turnover in Russia. At a time when others chose to withdraw, these firms kept profiting. @BILD #Germany #RussiaEconomy

russians steal Ukrainian homes after killing their owners or forcing them to flee the occupation.
russians loot Ukrainian homes before retreating.
russians bomb those Ukrainian homes they can neither steal nor loot.
There's no other word for it — pure evil.
Russia attacked a humanitarian mission again.
On the morning of October 14, in the Kherson region, Russian forces deliberately targeted four UN OCHA trucks with drones and artillery. These white vehicles bearing humanitarian markings were delivering aid to civilians.
One truck was completely burned, another seriously damaged, and two managed to get away. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
💬 "Another brutal violation of international law, proving Russia’s utter disregard for civilian lives and its international obligations," Andrii Sybiha, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has stated.
"We urge UN Member States to clearly condemn yet another attack on humanitarian personnel and impose additional pressure on the aggressor."
A family of four in Lapaiivka, Lviv region, was killed in a massive Russian attack on October 4, including 15-year-old Anastasiia Hrytsiv. Her mother, Uliana, and two other relatives also died when their home was destroyed.
Anastasiia’s father, Volodymyr, a serviceman, learned of his daughter’s death from his mother-in-law. The last time he spoke with Anastasiia, she asked, “How are you?” He replied, “I’m fine. How are you?” She answered, “I’m fine too.”
This was the largest Russian combined strike on the Lviv region since the full-scale invasion began, involving 549 aerial weapons, including 496 drones and 53 missiles.
One of the largest mass shootings of the Holocaust happened in Ukraine.
On 29–30 September 1941, in just two days, Nazi forces murdered nearly 34,000 Jewish residents of Kyiv at Babyn Yar, a ravine that became a site of unimaginable suffering.
What happened at Babyn Yar is a warning etched into history. Aggressors must be confronted, for evil never ceases by itself.

Last night, russia murdered Denys and Yehor, as well as their father, and mother who was pregnant with twins. A russian drone destroyed their home in Chernechchyna near Sumy, with washed children's clothes still drying in the yard. russia is a terrorist state killing innocents.
⚡️ Horrific Russian war crimes in Kherson, known as “human safari,” are now mapped—every drone strike on civilians documented by @tochnyi.
Since 2023, over 3,000 casualties have been recorded.
Maia Sandu: “Russia wants to turn Moldova into a base against Ukraine and the EU”
“Russia’s stakes are very high, which is why it is pouring resources into Moldova’s elections. This isn’t just about us — it’s about the war in Ukraine,” Maia Sandu said.
According to her, the Kremlin is seeking to gain control over the government in Chisinau in order to use the country against Ukraine and certain EU member states.
Sandu warns that from Moldova, Russia could train people for illegal operations in the EU and launch drones, just as it is doing from Belarus.
“We know that Russia is capable of causing great harm and is striving to control the Republic of Moldova in order to use us against other states,” the president said.
In the aftermath of relentless russian attacks, civilian infrastructure lies in ruins. Once again, russia targets innocent civilians. Help protect lives — support UNITED24’s fundraiser for AI-controlled turrets https://t.co/ktkUzxV8Yd
Ukraine considers the decision of the General Assembly of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) @Paralympics in Seoul shameful, as it chose not to extend the partial suspension of the national Paralympic committees of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
The restrictions, including those against the Russian Paralympic Committee, have been in place since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The Russian invasion continues, as do Russian atrocities against Ukrainians, yet for some reason the IPC General Assembly has decided to change its stance. In reality, the only thing that has changed is that IPC officials seem to have lost the remnants of their conscience.
This “about-face” also takes place against the backdrop of Russia’s refusal of peace and its escalating terror against Ukrainians and provocations against other European countries. It effectively encourages Russian aggression, terror, and killings, and fosters impunity for the Russian and Belarusian regimes at a time when the entire international community is working to increase pressure on Moscow to force it toward peace.
The IPC’s decision draws international sport into politics and war propaganda, as Moscow has used sport as a propaganda tool since Soviet times. Well-known Russian and Belarusian coaches and athletes openly express support for Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine and take part in the propaganda activities of the Putin regime. Many “Paralympians” from Russia and Belarus have directly participated in the bloody war against the Ukrainian people, earning notoriety for their “heroism” and cruelty.
We call on the entire sporting world – states, sports institutions, all athletes and coaches who have not lost their moral compass – to condemn this shameful decision and demand its reversal. We appeal to Italy to ensure that Russian flags – under which Ukrainians are being killed today – do not appear during competitions. Russian and Belarusian athletes and their symbols must not be allowed back into international sporting events until Russia ends its genocidal war against Ukraine.

Georgia’s newest regime prisoner case could become the most prominent one - and the most damaging to the regime.
23-year-old Meggie Diasamidze was taken off a transport vehicle in Lanckhuti, western Georgia. The entire way to Tbilisi, she was handcuffed with hands behind her back. She asked to at least make the handcuffs looser, but the regime police responded that she needed to just move less.
All this because she wrote “Russian Dream” on the Tbilisi Mayor Kaladze’s campaign banner at the Melikishvili street office, the epicenter of protests - and violence - in the last few days. The dye was easily removed the same evening and the banner now looks like new.
This is the first time ever that anyone’s arrested under the Criminal Code over damaging a campaign banner. Normally, it would imply just a modest administrative fine. Some point out that it’s Kaladze’s banner that is there illegally to begin with, because of various regulations regarding buildings categorized as cultural heritage.
Meggie now faces up to 5 years in prison.
The thing is, political imprisonment of citizens is extremely unpopular nationally, even including the regime supporters. And the Georgian Dream is not in a good shape, they are brittle. Few believe they could afford another round of mass violence like in December. They even had to detain two of their own violent thugs (Titushky) from the September 8 violence for their self-protection propaganda purposes (potentially undermining the loyalty of other violent thugs).

Today we honour the memory of civilians in Yarova, Donetsk region, whose lives were taken short by Russia. A cynical Russian strike on September 9 killed 25 people and injured 18 more.
Russia deliberately targeted the center of the village when civilians were waiting at a mobile post office to receive social payments.
Every life destroyed by Russia leaves an irreparable wound in the hearts of families and the community. Eternal memory to the victims.
