Our thoughts and prayers are with Maddox Graser, his family, and @Woo_Baseball this evening. While we are fierce competitors on the field, we acknowledge that life is bigger than baseball. The entire Ashland Arrows Baseball family continues to pray for a miracle! #2 ππ
Unfortunately, my season has come to an unexpected end. I recently found out I tore my UCL and will be undergoing Tommy John surgery.
This isnβt how I wanted the season to go, but Iβm thankful for all the support from my teammates, coaches, friends, and family. It really means a lot.
Iβll still be there for my team every game, and Iβm excited to watch them compete the rest of the season. As for me, itβs time to get to work. Iβll be attacking rehab and doing everything I can to come back stronger than ever.
This is just part of my journey. Iβll be back in 2027.
βHave I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.β β Joshua 1:9
Our Charter Next Generation MVP gave @arrow_baseball the start that they needed on a rainy day in the valley as Noah Merrill threw three of the game's five innings allowing only one run on 2 hits with 4 strikeouts to earn the win as the Arrows move to 5-1 with an 8-3 darkness-shortened win over Clear Fork.
