@AFCAMDEN One of my best friends is a United fan, and while he won’t fully admit it, he is moody when Arsenal win and so giddy when Arsenal drop points. He passes it off as none of us know any Man City fans so for banter purposes it’s funnier if Arsenal lose, but it’s still insane to me.
@CallumRobinson7 Did they? Or did they celebrate an adequate amount like a team who won a tightly contested champions league semi final? Maybe lay off heading the ball for a bit (as if you can), might have caused some neurological issues. A “professional” footballer leaning into lazy tropes 😂
@football_pb The flip side (and way overly optimistic view) is that they’ve won 2 of their last 3 games at home and only lost to Liverpool to a last second goal 😅
@WeAreTheOverlap Typically Neville delusion 😂 United played less matches than wolves this season, with an expensively assembled squad, of course they look fresh as the season has gone on. Wait until they play more than once a week and we’ll see.
@lxstlosty Spurs have been absolutely hosed with injuries, 100%, however, that’s not a good enough excuse for an actual relegation, not for a club the size of what spurs fans claim their club is.
@mike1974bell Jacob Ramsey literally got sent off when Newcastle played man united last month getting a 2nd yellow and red for a dive, what are you on about? Bissouma deserved to get sent off, it was a correct decision.
@LeGrove Next 2 PL games are gonna be the most difficult. If we can beat Fulham and west ham, I’d be confident we’ll get the wins vs Burnley and palace (assuming palace have the conference league final 3 days later so will rotate heavily).
@51becku@markgoldbridge I refuse to believe people like this don’t genuinely think a win vs Newcastle is anything but a good result and is just saying something deliberately dumb and provocative for views/clicks/likes.
@lukestanley03 Big teams would, yes, of course they would. Fake, cheating clubs that don’t have the fan base of genuine big clubs won’t be able to. That’s the difference.
@HoltChris Completely missed the mark. You’re assuming the same fans keep going to every single match. Thats why other non-cheating teams who are organically big have a constant rotation of fans who go, so it’s not the same people forking out for every match, like is city fans claim.

@TheFootyFeed It’s obvious. It’s easy to compartmentalize your own teams shortcomings when a cheating team wins because they cheat, what can you do when playing by the rules. But when a non-cheating team wins, it puts a bigger spotlight on your own teams shortcomings.
@gunnerjez89@elspanishgooner Then when they win it, they’ll be on the piss in the days leading up to the final day. If city are going to drop points it’ll hopefully be against Everton/Bournemouth/Brentford, palace and Villa won’t give a shite about the league at that stage.
@thebottomcorna@Danielfloyd1981 I honestly don’t see how we win the league from here. City smell blood in the water, they’ll beat Chelsea tomorrow, beat Palace as their game in hand, and, given how our last 4 games have been going, beat us at the Etihad next week so we’ll be level on points. Can’t see it.
@ESPNUK Yup, change in format with no drop off from CL teams shows what a diluted competition it’s become. 15th and 17th best teams in England playing in that final and Forest currently in 16th playing to get into the semi’s, poor quality competition now.
