ये रियाज़ुद्दीन मंसूरी हैं। दिल्ली के मालवीय नगर के जिस होटल में बीते रोज़ आग लगने की वजह से 21 लोगों की जाव गई थी, रियाज़ुद्दीन की उसी होटल के सामने ही रजाई-गद्दों की दुकान है। वे हौजरानी में पिछले 45 वर्षों से रहते हैं। जब होटल में आग लगी तो लोगों की चीख पुकार सुनकर वो भी पहुंचे। उन्होंने अपनी दुकान के सारे गद्दे सड़क पर बिछा दिए।

रियाजुद्दीन ने NDTV से बताया कि वह खुद सिविल डिफेंस में रह चुके हैं. उनको पता कि जब आग लगती है तो उससे कैसे बचा जा सकता है. इसी के चलते आग लगने पर उन्होंने तुरंत खिड़की को तोड़ा और सड़क पर गद्दे बिछा दिए, ताकि लोग ऊपर से कूदें तो उनको ज्यादा चोट न लगे. उन्होंने कहा कि आज उनकी दुकान खाली हो गई है लेकिन उनको सुकून है कि इंसान बच गए। रियाज़ुद्दीन का कहना है कि उन्होंने लाखों रुपए के गद्दे मैंने लोगों को बचाने के लिए बिछा दिए, मुझे सुकून है कि गद्दों की वजह से 8-12 लोगों की जान बच गई और उनको सिर्फ मामूली चोट आई है।

इंसानियत को बचाने की यह घटना उसी दिल्ली में सामने आई है। जिस दिल्ली में आपसी रंजिश में हुई एक हत्या का दोष पूरे समुदाय पर मढ़ने का षडयंत्र किया गया, और हाल ही में दिल्ली से सटे ग़ाज़ियाबाद के खोड़ा में ‘सूर्या’ हत्याकांड के बाद पूरे समुदाय के खिलाफ भड़काऊ बयानबाज़ी और नफ़रत फैलाने का षडयंत्र जारी है। अब सवाल यह है कि जब एक शख्स के अपराधिक कृत्य का दोष पूरा समुदाय पर मढने का षडयंत्र रचा जाता है, तब रियाज़ जैसे इंसानियत के मसीहा की इंसानियत को बचाने की जद्दोज़हद को उस समुदाय से क्यों नहीं जोड़ा जाता? जो संगठन किसी ‘अपने’ को ‘दूसरे’ द्वारा मार दिए जाने के बाद उग्र होकर नफ़रत फैलाते हैं, वो संगठन रियाज़ जैसे मसीहाओं को पलकों पर क्यों नहीं बैठाते? कहावत है कि मारने वाले से बचाने वाला बड़ा होता है। रियाज़ जैसे लोग इंसानियत के मसीहा हैं। इन मसीहाओं को दिल से सलाम।

Riyazuddin Mansoori. Plz read this name again. He saved eight lives in Delhi hotel fire.

Mansoori n his son Arman, took out 20-25 mattresses from his shop n kept outside window of the hotel where fire broke out. So that people stuck inside could jump.

Eight people could save their lives because of Mansoori family. He didn't think about loss of a few lakhs of mattresses.

He himself might don't want to boast. But this is for everyone who try to criminalise every act by Muslims.
