Don't be afraid of failures.
Just keep trying and trying
Until you find that one thing at which you are the best
You might find it in the first try or you might find it after fifty tries.
Whatever you do
Just don't give up
Trust the process.
Living below your means. Not poverty. Strategic simplicity. Small house, big bank account. Regular car, new investments. Simple pleasures, complex assets.
The gap between what you make and what you spend is your freedom. Lifestyle inflation is voluntary slavery.
Some things only make sense with time.
You'll be just chilling and then it hits you outta nowhere what that thing meant and it changes your whole perspective.
The new perspective means progress.
It helps solve problems which seemed impossible to solve.
One of my super powers is that I’m really hard to offend.
I’ve seen too many people get offended for dumb reasons and lose out on a lot of opportunities in the long run.
Not over-thinking things and being able to understand where other people are coming from is massively profitable.
Two examples:
A while back I got invited to be a speaker at a conference in Boston.
I found out the host of the conference had paid for another speaker's flights and hotels but not mine.
Initially I was a little annoyed and almost cancelled. I decided to swallow my pride and go and I ended up meeting three critical people including a business partner, an influencer who invited me on their podcast, and a big investor. It was a game changer for me.
Another time, I had a potential employee miss a big interview. They called me the next day when they realized they had put the incorrect date in their calendar.
I gave them another shot and they ended up being one of the best hires I've ever made and still work with me today. They will likely run one of my companies someday.
The lesson:
Swallow your pride. Be un-offendable. Don't get emotional.
Be so secure in yourself that you can't be offended by other people.
Life will be 10x better for you, you'll accomplish 10x more and you'll get 10x richer as well.
Be inspired by people doing better than you.
Jealousy won't bring you any good. Next time you get jealous of a person, try to look for things that impress you about the person instead. It will be good for your mental health.
and you might learn something new.
What’s in your control:
- what you do
- what you say
- what you think
What isn’t:
- what other people do
- what other people say
- what other people think
Start before you're ready.
You'll never have all the answers.
You'll never feel 100% prepared.
But waiting too long is just procrastination in disguise.
Jump in, adapt, and grow.
Living a life that is planned seems like a nightmare but in reality it is one of the easiest ways to increase your productivity.
Planning everything makes performing tasks seamless.
Track feedback and improve for future plans.
