I don't know who else to tell this to, so I am going to tell my story here.
Every day is a struggle for a young business, but the last few months have been harder than usual.
We are a small Indian company. For more than ten years we have been building a homegrown brand in a product category dominated by big foreign players.
There are almost no Indian names in this space. We set out to be one.
We started in 2014. Over the years we began making parts in India instead of just importing, and we started selling in the US, Dubai, Nepal, Malaysia and South Africa.
We showed up at global trade fairs to represent an Indian brand on the world stage.
In 2023 we changed the import code we use for our product. We did not do this quietly. Every shipment was declared. Nothing was hidden. We didn't invent our approach.
We followed written professional advice and the way this product is treated in markets around the world.
And now we are facing a government demand running into tens of crores in duty recovery and penalties, plus personal penalties on the founders and even on an employee.
For a company our size, this is not a fine we can pay and move on from. This ends us.
We have not run from any of this. I am not built like that. It is not how I was raised. We have written to the authorities, met officials in person, and we have now filed a writ in the High Court.
All we are asking for is a fair treatment.
I set out to build in India and sell to the world. I am asking only that the system back honest founders trying to compete globally, instead of breaking them.
The process is the process, and it exists for a reason. But process should not feel like punishment.
From where I am standing today, it does.
I am not giving up. I have worked too hard for this. If you have read this far, please share it. If you know someone who can help, point them my way. Help me get the word out.
You don't realize how traumatizing corporate office politics are until you are out of that environment, realize that NONE of that sht was normal and you reflect on how you were treated for a job that you were overqualified for and underpaid for.
Disgusting overpowering stench at Haralur Road near fisherman’s wharf restaurant. 🤮Has been more than 2 weeks since the drainage leak. It has now turned into sludge smelling like a giant toilet bowl

People who bury their otherwise reasonable ideas and points in AI verbiage are ruining themselves. I have stopped reading some of those who mistakenly think that they have become AI smart by copy pasting a ton of inanities…
Made in India. Why purchase from a Champs Élysées store.
Buy in mumbai or make an Indian Rich’s brand of global repute and give discount to desi buyers 😇
Very sad news. #MarjaneSatrapi was a global icon for my generation of women. Her graphic novel #Persepolis is one of my all-time favorite books of the 21st century. During #Covid,I had attended an online discussion with her which was centered around her books-Persepolis and its sequel. It was an absolute delight to listen to her. Her description of her own life in Iran(and later Austria)during and after the Islamic revolution, deserves to be read by every woman, nay, every human being. She was a fighter and an inspiration ❤️🙏 may she rest in peace.
Urgent attention required! This massive, deep pit is left completely open and is now filled with rainwater, making it an invisible death trap for pedestrians and motorists. Location: Thubarahalli Extension Road, near Charitha Greenwoods. @bbmpcommr@WFRising@wftrps

My favorite way of interacting with Claude Code is to have it generate static HTML files as outputs (reports, explorations, code structure, mockups etc.)
I wanted to iterate on the file by commenting in browser and having Claude update the output live.
So, I built this Claude Skill👇
How it works:
- Install Claude Code skill (ask it to clone repo)
- Build an HTML page for anything (e.g. research coding agents and generate HTML report)
- Ask it to make the page interactive
That's it. CC will launch a localhost server and allow you to then leave comments on the page itself and once it updates, will give you a tour of changes.
It's like Google Docs kind of comments/iteration but for HTML pages.

There was a time when startups in the Bay Area wouldn’t hire engineers from old stodgy companies because they worried those employees would bring political games with them.
Hiring ex-Meta engineers now carries a similar risk too many of them have spent too long in a Hunger Games style environment. Sad overall as they are obviously top tier. Some are scarred for life
Corporate life will teach you that knowing the job is only half the battle. The real skill is staying calm in meetings, reading the room, managing ego, receiving vague feedback, and not replying to emails with your real thoughts and just being generally fake 8 hours a day for 40 year’s straight and not letting it drive you insane
For nearly six years, Bengaluru has been denied the most basic layer of democracy, an elected local representative that citizens can hold accountable. Through garbage crises, flooding, broken roads and failing footpaths, we have had no corporator to question. The Supreme Court’s extension till August 31 must be the final indulgence. Bengaluru cannot be governed forever by administrators, notifications and excuses. The State Government and Election Commission must treat this as a hard deadline and restore elected local government without further delay.
Understand: people will constantly attack you in life. One of their main weapons will be to instill in you doubts about yourself. They will often disguise this as their objective opinion, but invariably it has a political purpose, they want to keep you down.
