God Every Day || 100

Truly truly I tell you, I cannot believe we are on day 100. It has flown by. But at the same time it feels as if I've been doing this my entire life.

Maybe that's just the feeling of finally being in 100% alignment with what God created me to do. Only He knows for certain.

I want to write a novel length post to unpack what I've learned and gained in the last 100 days. But I'll spare you and try to summarize it all in one word:

JOY.

Joy for the gift of each day, joy for family, for friends, for life, for love, joy for being able to experience each moment, joy for being able to feel unbelievably grateful for it all, joy in understanding the trials and tribulations of my past, joy in creating for God every day, and joy for what's to come.

Today's Gospel, Matthew 14:22-36, lines right up with where I was for oh so long:

"But when he saw how strong the wind was he became frightened;
and, beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!”
Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand and caught him,
and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

For too long I doubted in me. Which also means I doubted in Him. No more. (of course I'll falter, but now I know)

Today I put in some work on the creative tools I've been building to aid in my process. These tools are ran 100% locally meaning no internet, no subscription, no token usage, nothing. This would have been impossible, or super expensive for me to do if not for AI coding tools.

I'm still glued to the hip and drowning with adobe and other AI subscriptions..but maybe not forever.

Today's experiment is my take on "Moses Breaking the Tablets of the Law", 1659 oil-on-canvas painting by Dutch master Rembrandt van Rijn.

He and CS Lewis are famous for "sneaking (theology and religion) past the watchful dragons."

When looking back at sacred art history, there are legitimately countless and stunning variations of "Madonna with Child."

I fully intend to add to that as much as I can because there is nothing quite like a mothers love. Especially the Love from the Mother of God.

I've never heard of this new "ism" but it did strike some thoughts in me and I think it would be beneficial for you to define so healthy dialogues can flow. Especially what is so frightening from your perspective.

My gut reaction when I think of masculinism is the creation of the wheel, engine, electric, lightbulbs, internet, X, cellphones and computers, air conditioning, airplanes, fuel, Churches, every single home, building, hospital, sky scraper, welding, roads, plumbing, garbage removal and the list of civilization creating/preserving systems and tools, built by masculine men legitimately doesn't end.
