I've spent over 10 years as a tech recruiter placing engineers who are building the AI systems that are the foundation of the future of work.

What I see from the inside is clear: the people building with AI are creating more work, not less. Different work. Better work in a lot of cases.

The transition is going to be painful. That part nobody should sugarcoat.

But we will get through this and to a more abundant society.

If a normie, like myself can learn to use a terminal and get excited about coding, systems, architecture you can too.

yeah officer so he was using astra, and i told him he should've used fable, because fable writes more mergeable code, you know how gpt models love their tests? i also saw him on the terminal, we have guis now, officer have you heard about t3ode? it's the all in one interface for using your codex and claude subscription

I see all of this hiring being marketed, but has anyone asked the question of why we are still manually applying to jobs with a piece of self-written evidence?

@Moguenao @thdxr AI processing is correct, what is broken is the Job Appilcation and Resume part. What if you had Opencode running your inbound and then doing a prompt challenge or something similar? That would be ideal in today’s world where a piece of paper needs to be updated.

@davidsenra @mati Applied AI is the challenge over the next 3-5 years. Vertical integration is still less than 10% in Fortune 500 and even worse in SMB

Applied AI is and will be the problem to solve to see the true positive outcomes of AI.

I’m surprised the Labs aren’t pushing this harder, when I meet with FDEs they are teaching, not bringing novel solutions to vertical industries.

We're adding support for AGENTS.md to Claude Code.

Starting today in version 2.1.277, if there is no CLAUDE.md in a folder, Claude will check for and use AGENTS.md.

You can toggle this behavior in /config.
