Artengine - Art, Design and Research. A unique space in Ottawa focused on producing new critical perspectives in our lab, online and out in the public space.
We have been working on an exhibition with Celina Jeffery (from @uOttawaArts ) called Entanglements for the last few years. It's about species loss and how artist tell these stories. It's opening next week at Karsh-Masson!

@uOttawaArts Among the many things to come out Ephemeral Coasts, both artistically and critically, the issue of Drain dedicated to her project is a highlight. Drain brings together the voices (and images) of artist and curator/theorists. This one is a great issue:

We have had such meaningful experience working with our colleague from @uOttawaArts Celina Jeffery on the Entanglements show. Reckoning with species loss in art is complicated... beauty & loss... Her previous work is really worth checking out. https://t.co/yfNyrEc82J
@uOttawaArts Ephemeral Coast looked at many projects grappling with the relationship and the space between land and water... this rich and complex terrain which not only defines much of human society, but is obviously rapidly and and sometimes catastrophically changing.
@NSardet is arriving for install today at Karsh-Masson. He has been working on the sea and plankton for many years. His new installation as part of The Macronauts consider our relationship with tiny and beautiful life forms under the sea. Check https://t.co/DL17NbQY01 for more

@matdryhurst@fringedrifters@1nterdependence This was such a great conversation, from start to finish! We loved so much hearing about the project itself and the governance and mechanics being built and experimented with along the way. It kicked our week off with loads of inspiration! Thanks!
