Had a great opportunity to see Brett play sledge hockey against Wilmot today. I'm so proud of Brett for his initiative to share this experience with his team.

Annual year-end McDonald's trip. Students did a great job ordering using communication devices and paying for their purchases.

#CampDay @TimHortons contributions. Messy, but so much fun!

[classroom78 @artforalltllp]

Another successful Muffin and Smoothie Shop hosted by the Kids of Classroom 78! Thanks to everyone who came out to support us!

[Jeff Heer @jheerND]

Our exit ticket allowed students to reflect and connect with the presentation from Mrs. Bell. Thanks again, Mrs. Bell for joining us today!

[Jeff Heer @jheerND]

Finally, we discussed the Communication Bill of Rights and discussed how it relates to our classroom and the learning goals we discovered!

[Jeff Heer @jheerND]

We also wondered about ways to be supportive of friends and classmates with different needs. We had great insight and questions!

[Jeff Heer @jheerND]

We were lucky enough to have Mrs. Bell from Kidsability join us. We discussed the importance of communication. We decided on three LG's.

[Jeff Heer @jheerND]

This morning we started our day with our CHAMPS goal of "communicating with good purpose" and co-created our success criteria.

[Jeff Heer @jheerND]

We learned how students communicate using strategies and devices. We connected this to adapting, respect, empowerment and accessibility.
