@jeanwelchhill @UPI So sad. I remember moving to New York in 1981 to attend Columbia University. Although the subways were a m es, there were few if any homeless. The start of the Reagan administration would change this. By the end of his regime there were many. Connection. Correlation? Cause?

@Jeandioslc Why does the Diocese have “no comment” Erik Richtsteig? He caused a ridiculous furor years ago with his condemnation of Judge’s putting on “Rent”—without ever having seen it! I havoread his posts, but I can imagine that they are in line with Francis‘ message of love.

@samsanders I had no idea about his affair with his much younger assistant. How did you learn about it? I’m really taken aback. If true, it’s sad. In his defense, there were problems with his marriage I would assume. Sigh.
