@Oddernod back in 2004 a plugin came out that did 'Speculative/background rendering' it worked but was slow when it kicked in. But that was way back in the single-threaded CPU days. (I know it was in 2004 because I read the news on my honeymoon in an internet cafe)

@george_bowler @3dduff @brokenkeyframe Me too"Super control vs. speed of creation". The point that pushed me over the edge with C4D + XP I can get to 60% of what I want fast...but that last 40% is like digging through a brick wall with a spoon. Then I start making compromises just to get done.
