After seeing how badly @SFSuperiorCourt judges are frustrating the City’s efforts to get street-level fentanyl dealers off our neighborhood streets, I personally attended this morning’s bail hearing on the accused drug dealer arrested last week on Russ Street in SOMA. (1/2)
Thank you to everyone that came out yesterday and made #NNO2023 a memorable event! Special Thanks to the Southern Station CPAB members for being an instrumental part in organizing the event and @eastcutcrossing for providing the wonderful location for us to gather and meet!
Last week between 6AM Thrus and 6AM Monday 21 people were robbed, 3 stabbed, and 4 shot. But in a 25-hour span between Thurs & Friday, 3 people were shot & killed. Check the video out for some of the latest stats.

@KevinMBenedicto it would be great if you can take some time to go to @SFPDSouthern / HQ to watch and listen to the reports made at the service counter. It is enlightening. I apologized to visitors for the car break in and there trip cut short because of this. Accountability #1
@SusanDReynolds@StanleyRoberts@EricaJSandberg Actually, as we’ve mentioned before, every Commissioner does ride-alongs, walk-alongs, and drop ins on a regular basis, so we are actually able to and do that without being issued any kind of “challenge.” It’s an important part of our jobs and it’s a privilege to do them.
The one challenge that they do not share is the crime is not stopped. It moves into adjacent neighborhoods and creates the same challenges. It is a fact crime will move not be stomped out. We need to look at the City as a whole to manage the out of control crime.

Please take a few moments this National Police Week to reflect upon both the courage and sacrifice shown by our nation’s law enforcement officers by honoring those who gave their lives protecting their communities.
@KevinMBenedicto@SF_Conservative@sfstandard @SFPDChief It's interesting to note that you're actively tweeting during the Police Commission Meeting, which raises questions about your priorities. Are you more focused on social media and the media spotlight, rather than the safety and well-being of San Francisco?
