Earlier, the World Council of Churches announced it would dedicate a day of prayer for Armenia at Geneva’s St. Pierre Cathedral on November 10, also preceding the COP29 climate negotiations in Azerbaijan.

Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia has also joined in support of the World Council of Churches’ call.

The strong reaction from people in the opposite camp to Armenians saying Russia gave away Artsakh is hastily labeled as a defense of Russia and its innocence.

This is a childishly black-and-white perspective. In reality, it has more to do with disappointment and anger toward Armenians who still, after everything that has happened, fail to take responsibility for the disaster which was the Pashinyan government.

People get angry not because they’re offended on behalf of Russia, but because they’re offended on behalf of Armenians. “Russia sold Artsakh” exonerates Nikol as he gets ready to surrender even more villages which, this time, will lay the groundwork for #openArmeniaBlockade.

“Don’t panic” is what they said when they were warned about this scenario in Artsakh. Look how that turned out.
