We are appealing for the public’s help to trace a teenage girl who has gone missing from #SouthOxhey

Elizabeth, aged 13, who is also known as Libby was last seen at around 10am yesterday (Tuesday 20 October in the Rickmansworth area.

She is described as being approximately 5ft 5ins tall and of medium build with long hair, half red and half brown, which is normally worn up.

It is likely that Elizabeth will be wearing a black blazer and white shirt, with black Nike Air Force trainers.

A Teenager’s $500 Invention Could Inspire Better Kidney Care

At just 17, Canadian student Anya Pogharian began developing a low-cost dialysis machine after volunteering at Montreal General Hospital.

She spent more than 300 hours building a prototype for around $500, which was later tested using human blood during an internship at Héma-Québec.

Dialysis helps remove waste from the blood when the kidneys cannot function properly. Although her prototype was not an approved medical device, her idea highlighted the potential for making treatment more affordable and accessible.

Sometimes, one young mind can inspire a big change in healthcare.

Have you seen missing 15-year-old Sana from Luton?

She was last seen on Saturday (17 October) wearing a grey and gold jumper, trousers, black trainers with silver details and a long grey scarf.

Sana is described as being 5’2”, slim build, has black hair and is of Asian heritage. It is also believed that Sana frequents the Barnet area of London.

Teddy is a 5 year old male Mastiff mix - he is available and looking for a new home.
He eats Ava sensitive skin and stomach mix from Pets at Home.
Teddy is good in the car but only use to short journeys.
He sleeps in the kitchen at night but would sometimes also sleep in his owners bed.
He is registered with the vets and can be left on his own if you need to go out.
Teddy is a big boy, he may knock small kids over, so he would suit a home with older dog savvy kids 10+.
He loves people and is good once he gets a clap, but he is wary of men wearing hats.
Teddy walks well on the lead and he use to go walking with a dog walker and was fine.
Teddy loves a ball rope, he likes to chew on the rope until it's untied.
He likes treats.
There isn't much that Teddy doesn't like, however he doesn't like the sound of metal/shutter noise as he got a fright when he was a puppy.
Teddy loves lying in bed under the covers. He would be best in a home with no other pets or cats.
He isn't really fussed by other dogs when he is out walking.
Teddy knows basic commands.
