Vijay Joseph Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu is observing Indian Politics
From the horse mouths.
From Prme Minister Narendra Modi
From leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi
From prime mover of NDA Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu
What would these ‘help Vijay Joseph “ to play national politics after possessing grapevine bank
From all 360 degree perspectives
Rahul Gandhi might have filled ears of Vijay with negative on BJP and Union Government delimitation, UCC,
Prime Minister Narendra Modi needless to mention briefed Vijay, how he face entertainment from LoP Rahul Gandhi
Like daily soap-opera of dramas with Batman masks, “Goonj” hugs in Students rallies
Whereas a clear cut political lesson from Chandrababu Naidu
Booster to Vijay, a fourth force emerging from Tamil Nadu
In the face of Vijay Joseph
Basically in North Indian a media built up- particulalry in Hindi an image building is silently taking shape
That is why Vijay Joseph is not indulging in politicking. Vijay is a deep, silent, quiet, non provocative
Smooth observer and his 150 days administration, state assembly conduct, dashing responses to his arch rival Udhainidhi LoP in Tamil Nadu, a DMK leader
Thesr may be political assets Vijay Joseph built it on his own
But his demolish DMK intent will be quenching his thirst is ti build up leader from Cine field as his rival and also his successor

@CMOTamilnadu@imrajmohan
🚨🚨Same Period, Different Prices: AP at ₹16–₹20, TN at ₹37/Unit
Tamil Nadu is buying power at unprecedented prices to bridge its supply-demand gap.
⚡ ₹31.99–₹34.49/unit for 1,500 MW of round-the-clock power
⚡ ₹33.37–₹37/unit for 2,000 MW during evening peak hours
⚡ Nearly 4,000 MW unavailable from central generating stations due to scheduled maintenance
⚡ Peak demand touching 20,000 MW, with daily consumption around 70 MU higher than last October.
The most concerning part is the failure to anticipate and prepare for the shortage early enough.
Andhra Pradesh finalised its tenders for the same period on September 9, while TNPDCL floated its tenders only about a week before the power was needed. AP secured power at ₹16–₹20/unit, compared with Tamil Nadu’s record ₹37/unit, although the timing and procurement terms differ.
Scheduled maintenance, reduced wind generation and uncertain monsoon timing may have contributed to the shortage. But these are foreseeable risks that demand advance planning.
Why did TNPDCL wait until the last minute instead of floating tenders well in advance, as Andhra Pradesh did?Poor planning can leave the state with little choice but to buy power at exorbitant rates, ultimately increasing the financial burden on the power utility.
Emergency procurement may be unavoidable. Paying a record price because preparation came too late is a different matter.
🚀 Tamil Nadu Start-ups Pitch Their Ideas to PM Modi During Metro Ride
Upon watching the videos of the inaugural Metro ride, I too assumed that the people seated with files and folders were Chennai Metro Rail Limited officials. Turns out, they were actually 15+ start-up founders from across Tamil Nadu, pitching their ventures to PM Narendra Modi, with CM C. Joseph Vijay looking on.
Some interesting innovations were presented:
🔹 Thazhal Geospatial Analytics: Satellite-based monitoring of construction progress, delays and risks, along with mangrove assessment and lake monitoring.
🔹 Blunav: AI-powered airport operations solutions, with a focus on indigenous aviation technology, data sovereignty and India's potential to become a global exporter.
🔹 Grahaa Space: Nano-satellite technology and plans for an advanced Earth-observation constellation capable of delivering near real-time geospatial video data.
Each founder reportedly allotted around two minutes to present their ideas, making the opportunity to engage directly with the Prime Minister particularly valuable.
Beyond the optics of an inaugural Metro ride, it was an opportunity for Tamil Nadu's start-up ecosystem to showcase homegrown innovations across space technology, geospatial intelligence and aviation.🚀
The corridors of power in Tamil Nadu’s Fort St. George went “powerless” for about 30 minutes on Monday, highlighting frequent power outages that people have complained. The CM’s Office is also located on the first floor, but on a different wing, which was spared from the outage.
TN Electricity board's power procurement at Rs 37/unit is its costliest purchase ever:
Andhra Pradesh bought at Rs 16-20 as they finalised the deals a month ago, while TNPDCL invited bids only a week ago
TN's peak electricity demand has gone up from 17000MW to 20,000 MW over the last year. 70 Million Units more
Former Electricity Minister Senthil Balaji is scheduled to address the media regarding the Tamil Nadu government’s purchase of electricity at the highest-ever price.
English-medium education comes at a price in Tamil Nadu’s govt-aided schools!
Schools demand ₹7,500 to ₹15,000 as 'special fees', while govt-fixed fee is Just ₹200 to ₹500.

CM Vijay meet Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu tomorrow (Oct 13) to discuss interstate water issues.
Two projects are relevant:
🔹Telugu Ganga — supplying Krishna water to Chennai.
🔹Godavari–Gundar river linking — please read my earlier post below. 👇🏾
This post explains Telugu Ganga.
Signed on April 18, 1983, during the MGR–NTR period, the agreement aimed to strengthen Chennai’s drinking-water supply beyond local rainfall.
The water travels through:
Srisailam → Velugodu → Somasila → Kandaleru → Poondi.
AP, Karnataka and Maharashtra contribute 5 TMC each from their Krishna shares. Of the 15 TMC allocated, 12 TMC should reach the TN border after allowing for evaporation and seepage.
The map shows how it reaches Chennai. 👇🏾
What should TN seek from Mr. Naidu?
🔹A clear schedule for delivering the agreed water.
🔹Joint canal maintenance to reduce losses.
🔹Shared monitoring of releases and actual receipts.
Alongside new river links, reliable supply through the existing project deserves attention.
