taare zameen par released in 2007, 3 idiots released in 2009, yet i am a victim of a failing education system and a failing society in 2025. movies may have the power to sensitize, but they lack the power to transform, and people are still caught up in this blind rat race.
ok this is big. clear indications that jony ive is working on a smart glass though openai is a company i would rather not have a product from. they are headed the google way of convolution.
BREAKING: Apple’s Vision Pro and Smart Glasses chief is leaving for OpenAI’s hardware division, the latest blow to Apple’s efforts in the space. https://t.co/lNGcWGMPaC
@flexonomist it is free market when a practice becomes a norm in a localised market when there is no law governing it. if something needs to be regulated, it needs to be clarified by the law.
@flexonomist that is just one individual’s experience. i can speak to the contrary for delhi. regulatory clarity is a must. also, it is a matter of demand and supply and as you can see even with 6 months of deposit, people are willing to pay up.
@flexonomist that is a separate issue but since the gov hasn’t provided clarity on it even after amendments very recently, you can’t blame the as people and shame a city. the same standards are followed in delhi and mumbai.
@flexonomist bhai, why even follow them (this looney included) in the first place. just start reading the columns of WSJ, The Economist or Chief Economists of top investment firms on LinkedIn.
@brivael your example is fair but flawed. what if a new kid enters the playground. he has no resources to begin with. this by virtue requires some redistribution.
If you don’t have a Mac and are trying to keep up with cutting edge AI, you literally can’t.
Everything is Mac only or Mac first.
This is a huge deal. Leading AI products are essentially built for Mac, with everything else being an afterthought.
This is significant
We have just seen one of the finest team bowling performances in this #TataIPL. Each of the five bowlers that @RCBTweets showed great skill and they were backed by brilliant fielding. Phil Salt in the deep was magnificent and Tim David's catch was a stunner
India’s economic news is worrying. Youth unemployment is very high: 15.6%. Unemployment among young graduates is even higher. GDP growth is mostly going to the rich. The rupee is falling. Such things happen when politics replaces policy.
Sad for a country with so much potential.
