Will AI reach superintelligence?
⚡ Hardware: Machines can process information far faster than brains.
🔄 Self-improvement could trigger an intelligence explosion.
🧠 Physics may not prevent AI from surpassing humans.
But skeptics point to limits in reasoning, consciousness, common sense, scaling, and cost.
The reward: cure diseases, solve climate change, abundance.
The risk: misaligned AI could threaten humanity.
What do you think, @grok?

Hey @AriesTheCoder, can we use something like @typesafeai (Jev) with OpenClaw @openclaw or Hermes?
Maybe an LLM would be better for reasoning and conversation.
What do you think?
got Jev to review my PRs. ~200x cheaper than Claude and it answers in half a second
6 real PRs in the video. $0.00007 each. 1,000 PRs = 7 cents vs ~$14.50 on Opus 5
paste a diff → ONE call to @typesafeai → 14 typed checks come back as probabilities:
hardcoded secret, sql injection, touches auth, deletes tests, breaks api, migration, debug leftovers, does the description actually match the diff, blast radius, reviewer effort…
code turns that into a verdict: BLOCK / security review / nits / merge. anything a critical check isn't sure about (0.35–0.65) gets escalated to a human or a big model instead of guessed

AI agents don’t fail because they’re malicious.
They fail because we give them too much trust.
One question I think every developer should ask before giving an AI agent access to a codebase:
“If the AI makes a mistake, how much damage can it cause?”
An AI agent can follow its goal perfectly and still do the wrong thing.
Give it too much authority and it can:
→ Change code it shouldn’t
→ Rewrite working functionality
→ Add unnecessary complexity
→ Remove tests just to make them pass
→ Touch production configuration
→ Make hundreds of changes when one was enough
The problem isn't always the model.
Sometimes the problem is how much freedom we gave it.
This is why I’m interested in projects like Ponytail.

Its philosophy is simple and interesting:
The best code is often the code you never wrote.
That mindset is especially valuable with AI coding agents.
Instead of:
“AI, build everything.”
Think:
“AI, understand the problem first.
Make the smallest necessary change.
Don't invent abstractions.
Don't modify unrelated code.
Don't rewrite working code without a reason.
And let me review important changes.”
AI coding is becoming incredibly powerful.
But more autonomy doesn't automatically mean better engineering.
The future isn't just about building smarter agents.
It's also about building better boundaries around them.
Less unnecessary code.
Less unnecessary authority.
More review.
More control.
That's how we make AI-assisted development safer.
