While residents can be advised to be cautious etc the larger problem of stray dog management lies absolutely with how the GCC has run the Animal Birth Control programme in Chennai over the years.

Residents can call now 1913 or raise a complaint on the Namma Chennai app and also get their local Councillor involved so the issue will be taken more seriously before incidents like a rabid dog biting 29 people.
