I am not a CEPR fellow. So it is not every day that my paper gets accepted for presentation at a CEPR conference. It hurts when I cannot present in Paris simply because there are no Schengen visa appointment dates in the UK until July. Come on!
@singhalecon Checked London, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh to no avail. Even if there were slots, there would be jurisdiction issues normally. Now I am an expert on this matter ๐
@chiruchat Thanks for the suggestion. But I have checked the dates for every Schengen country, including Italy, and there's nothing available. The trouble I think is with the TLS and VFS centres in the UK who handle the appointments for all Schengen visas.
