ಇದು ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ದಿನನಿತ್ಯದ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಕಾಳಜಿ, ಕಳಕಳಿ ಆಗಲಿ.

Kannada film industry does not just compete with Telugu and Tamil, it outclasses both, individually, and arguably combined..,

Tamil still has not produced a single ₹1000cr film.. Kannada already has one KGF 2 and has 2 franchises, KGF & Kantara..both capable of hitting that mark again like it's nothing.

Telugu has its ₹1000cr entries too but craft-wise,they are a tier below...

These were the words of Kuvempu , a reminder that leaders must speak to people in their language. Kannada deserves no less.

Yesterday, during the Indian Union Prime Minister’s address, the speech began solely in Urdu/Hindi. As a tax-paying Kannadiga, I rightfully demanded: make the PM’s address available in Kannada. In today’s tech-driven era, simultaneous dubbing into all Indian languages is both possible and necessary.

As expected, the troll army showed up hurling abuse. But a little later, Kannada and other languages were added as dubbed versions.

What does this tell us?
If non-Hindi people don’t speak up, we don’t get heard.

The government may pretend otherwise, but it runs on the taxes of all Indians, not just Hindi speakers.

It’s time we insist on live dubbing in all Indian languages for every official address.
This is not a privilege, it’s a democratic right.

ಹತ‌್ತು ವರ್ಷದ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಡೆದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯ ಕೇಸ್ ಗೆ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆಯಿಂದ ಸಂಜೆವರೆಗೂ ಕೋರ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತಾರೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಾಡಿಗಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ದಿನಗಕಟ್ಟಲೆ ಕೋರ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದು, ಹೋರಾಟದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವುದು ಸುಲಭವಲ್ಲ.

ಕರವೇ ಕಚೇರಿಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ, ಸಂಬಳ, ಬಾಡಿಗೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿತಿಂಗಳು ಹತ್ತಾರು ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಖರ್ಚು ವೆಚ್ಚವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಸುವುದು ಸುಲಭದ ಮಾತಲ್ಲ. @narayanagowdru ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಸಮರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಾನು ವಯಕ್ತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನ ಒಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವ ಹೊಣೆ ಹೊತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನವೂ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಂದ್ರೂ 3 ಗಂಟೆಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೆ. AI ಯುಗದ ಕೆಲಸದ ಒತ್ತಡ, ತಿಂಗಳ EMI ಗಳ ಜಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನ 3 ಗಂಟೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದಿಡುವುದು easy ಅಲ್ಲ.

ಕರವೇ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರ ಕೆಲಸ/ಹೊರಾಟ ಒಂದು ತರಹ thank less job ತರಹ 😃

X ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರವೇಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸುವ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಆಹ್ವಾನ. ಕರವೇ ಕಚೇರಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿ, ಅದೆಷ್ಟು ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಅನ್ನೋದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ. ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಲು ಮನಸ್ಸು ಬಂದ್ರೆ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಿ....

ಕನ್ನಡ ಪರವಾದ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಕೆಲಸವಿದೆ. ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ..

ನಾವಿರುವ ಕಡೆ ವಾರದ ಬಹುತೇಕ ದಿನ ಹಸಿ ಕಸ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಲವು ದಿನ ಒಣ ಕಸ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಲು ಪೌರಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಬರ್ತಾರೆ. ಹಾಗಿದ್ದೂ ಮನೆಯ ರಸ್ತೆ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಲಿ ಜಾಗವಿದೆ, ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನ ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಜನ ಎಸೆದು ಹೋಗ್ತಾರೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನವೂ ಪೌರಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಕಸ ಎಸೆದ ಜಾಗದಿಂದಲೂ ಕಸ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗ್ತಾರೆ. ಊರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಚ್ಚವಾಗಿಡೋದು ಕೇವಲ ಪೌರ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ಕೆಲಸವಲ್ಲ. ಆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮೊದಲು ನಾಗರೀಕರದ್ದು.

ಈ ನಡುವೆ ಇವರ
ಕಂಪನಿ ಗಾಳಿ/ನೀರನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ವರದಿಗಳು internet ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಡುಕಿದರೆ ಸಿಗುತ್ತೆ. ಎಂತ ವಿಪರ್ಯಾಸ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ?

Karnataka and Tamil Nadu both lure investments well but TN does exceptionally well in making sure localites get the jobs.. Whereas Karnataka administration is least bothered about local employment..
in TN.. only investment come
in Karnataka.. investment come along with immense Migration from other states

Tamil Nadu has solid framework of both infrastructural and tamil development

Karnataka has only a one🙏

We know where we differ, and we know where we can stand together. We know the difference between a dispute and a common challenge.

This is not something KRV discovered today.

As far back as 2017, KRV tried to bring together organisations representing different linguistic communities to jointly oppose Hindi imposition. We reached out to MNS, Shiv Sena, DMK and other linguistic groups for a round-table conference in Bengaluru.

We were fully aware that Shiv Sena’s stand on Belagavi was completely opposite to KRV’s. Yet we invited them because the purpose was different — to oppose Hindi imposition and fight for linguistic equality.

Shiv Sena did not attend. MNS attended. DMK’s senior leadership could not participate, but the DMK Karnataka unit attended and extended its support to KRV’s initiative.

So today's KRV–MNS engagement is neither sudden nor opportunistic. We have been trying for years to bring linguistic movements together on common issues.

KRV has the political maturity to separate disagreements from common causes.

ಗ್ವಾಲಿಯರ್ ಮೂಲದ, 1ನೇ ಕ್ಲಾಸಿನಿಂದ ಕನ್ನಡ ಓದ್ತಿರೋ 8ನೇ ತರಗತಿ CBSE ಹುಡುಗಿ ಕೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ!

ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದೆ: “ಇಷ್ಟು ಸಿಂಪಲ್ ಪದ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ವಾ ನಿಂಗೆ? ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಇಲ್ವಾ?”

“ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂಕಲ್, ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಗೆ ಯಾವಾಗ್ಲೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಮಾರ್ಕ್ಸ್ ಬರುತ್ತೆ. ಆದ್ರೆ ನಾವು ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾತಾಡೋದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಮಾರ್ಕ್ಸ್‌ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾತ್ರ ಕಲಿತಿವಿ!”

8-10 ವರ್ಷ ಕನ್ನಡ ಓದಿದ್ರೂ ಒಂದು ಸಿಂಪಲ್ ವಾಕ್ಯ ಮಾತಾಡೋಕೆ ಆಗದೆ ಇದ್ರೆ ಏನು ಪ್ರಯೋಜನ!? @Madhu_Bangarapp @DKShivakumar
It’s high time we revisit how Kannada is taught. Best reference might be Europe’s CEFR which uses an action-oriented approach.

Kannada curriculum should have speaking projects, neighbourhood surveys, interviews with shopkeepers, short videos, storytelling, field assignments and oral assessments.

8 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿತ ನಂತರ “ಎಷ್ಟು ಮಾರ್ಕ್ಸ್ ಬಂತು” ಅನ್ನೋ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಿಂತ, “ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನಾಗಿಯೇ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ ಶುರು ಮಾಡುವಷ್ಟು ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಇದೆಯಾ ?” ಅನ್ನೋದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಆಗಬೇಕಿದೆ.
