Concurrency is a property of the code; parallelism is a property of the running program. We only write concurrent code that we hope will be run in parallel. Parallelism is a property of the run-time of our program, not the code -Concurrency in Go book
The compiler has a new implementation of escape analysis that is more precise. For most Go code should be an improvement (in other words, more Go variables and expressions allocated on the stack instead of heap) #golang

I am happy to announce officially start of @CodeWithGolang
. This platform is targeted to be a rich resource center for Go. We will try to help underrepresented communities as well as students by providing free trainings and increase community engagement.

Which way should you prefer? Use second way as it is more readable. As soon as we see 'return &d2' we know it has to make an allocation on heap. First one does the same, but intent is not clean looking at only 'return d1'. Clever is never better than clear.

The language(Go) omits features that lead to ambiguity, encouraging code that is predictable and easily understood - Get Programming with Go Book

If you have worked only with Go, you may not be aware problems it has solved for you. Single and simple installation to target multiple platforms

Using user defined type for simple types like ints and floats is idiomatic. It is used heavily in Go standard library, it is easy to use them as receivers for methods. For e.g, atomicBool from net/http. Meaningful user defined type increases readability as well
प्रधान मंत्री जी - आपका हार्दिक अभिनन्दन. मैं अपने जीवन में इस दिन को देखने की प्रतीक्षा कर रही थी.
@narendramodi ji - Thank you Prime Minister. Thank you very much. I was waiting to see this day in my lifetime.

Did you know that even though Go is statically typed language, still you can use dynamic typing using empty interface (hint : fmt.Println) ?
you can write functions similar to dynamic languages like #JavaScript
