आणि तरीही छाननीत हा अर्ज बिनबोभाट मंजूर झाला.
सामान्य मतदाराचं नाव एका स्पेलिंगच्या चुकीमुळे यादीतून गायब होतं. मग उमेदवाराच्या प्रतिज्ञापत्रातली इतकी उघड विसंगती आयोगाच्या नजरेतून सुटते कशी?
नियम फक्त सामान्य मतदारांसाठीच कडक आहेत का?
की सत्ताधाऱ्यांसाठी वेगळा न्याय आहे?

देहरादून के सहस्रधारा रोड स्थित कानन कुंज में सामने आई यह घटना बेहद गंभीर और चिंताजनक है।

बताया जा रहा है कि कानन कुंज निवासी सुषमा वर्मा अपनी बेटी को स्कूल छोड़कर वापस लौट रही थीं, तभी एक काले रंग की कार उनके सामने आकर रुकी। कार से दो युवक उतरे और महिला को रोककर कथित तौर पर उन्हें जबरन कार में खींचकर ले जाने का प्रयास किया।

महिला ने शोर मचाया। उनकी आवाज सुनकर पास में सफाई कर रहीं नगर निगम की महिला सफाईकर्मी माया देवी और उनकी दो साथियों ने बिना डरे मौके पर हस्तक्षेप किया। हाथ में मौजूद झाड़ू के डंडों से उन्होंने कार पर ताबड़तोड़ हमला किया। महिलाओं के इस साहसिक प्रतिरोध के बाद कथित हमलावर मौके से भाग निकले।

सोचिए—अगर ये तीन महिलाएं उस वक्त सामने नहीं आतीं तो क्या होता?

यह सिर्फ एक महिला के साथ हुई कथित वारदात का मामला नहीं ह���। यह शहर में महिलाओं की सुरक्षा और कानून-व्यवस्था पर गंभीर सवाल खड़ा करता है।

देवभूमि को कलंकित करने वाले ऐसे लोगों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई ऐसी होनी चाहिए कि कानून का डर साफ दिखाई दे।

@sushilskinner Agree with all except #6. No one knows what is the foreign affairs policy of this govt. Although India followed non allignment policy till 2014, but it openly voiced it's concerns on international matters. But today FA policy is a mess. We have no say in international matters.

Lawyers Association For Constitution demands that the #SupremeCourt's orders referring the CEC Act challenge to the Constitution Bench, as well as giving interim relief to Noida DM Medha Roopam, be recalled in the light of reports that Justice Satish Chandra Sharma's son is a standing counsel for the Election Commission of India.

The Association demands that the matters be heard afresh by a bench in which Justice Sharma is not a member.

The Association also suggests a transparent protocol for disclosure by judges regarding any engagement of their close relatives by parties in the contest.
