David Fincher says Mindhunter Season 3 isn’t happening.
“It's a very expensive show and, in the eyes of Netflix, we didn't attract enough of an audience to justify such an investment.”
Leaving Durbin numbers out of this poll is very telling...
Either Underwood knows Durbin isn't running...
...OR, they tested Durbin and he was way ahead.
You don't omit him if the numbers were good for her.
#ILSen
🚨In our NEW #ILSEN POLL, we found @LaurenUnderwood leads with voters in every test, if Sen. Durbin were to retire—as first reported in @politico, @ShiaKapos.
Whether it's a four-person race or a three-person race—Illinois voters support Rep. Underwood.
To be clear, this comes from the Party that tried to hide their extremist agenda during campaign season last year, then utterly imploded in Lame Duck. But let’s summarize some facts about the last 90 days since Speaker Hall and the Republican Caucus took over:
1. House led the BIPARTISAN compromise on protecting Michigan servers / waitstaff
2. House led the BIPARTISAN charge on protecting family owned businesses and workers from government overreach
3. House passed a BIPARTISAN government shutdown prevention plan
4. House stood up with a BIPARTISAN vote to protect the integrity of women and girls sports
5. House passed multiple BIPARTISAN ethics reforms including banning lawmakers from becoming lobbyists for two years and mandating advance disclosure for earmarks - both the requester and the beneficiaries.
6. House reversed YOUR income tax hike from last year. The vote was BIPARTISAN.
7. House passed a BIPARTISAN Roads Plan that doesn’t raise taxes and nearly doubles investments in local roads.
So please explain why you’re criticizing your own Party members for working on solutions for Michigan workers and taxpayers.
Or, please post in this thread (or any other thread), with details, the Legislation Winnie Brinks and Senate Democrats, Ranjeev Puri and House Democrats, or Governor Whitmer have introduced and passed on these or any other tangible issue.
Lastly, please explain why you consider Oversight of taxpayer dollars to be “nonsense hearings” or “political games”.
For the second year in a row, Naperville has been named the nation's best city to live in.
Another step toward making us the best state to live, work, and raise a family. https://t.co/0pVig4UicO
He’ll never take personal credit but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Naperville has received this honor two years in a row while he’s been mayor.
We did it again! For the 2nd year in a row, https://t.co/i52Y7QyDfQ named Naperville the Best City to Live in America. 2025 is the 5th consecutive year we were named Best City to Raise a Family in America & the City with the Best Public Schools in America. (1/3)
It continues to amaze me that Republicans bury their heads in the sand when it comes to Vote By Mail.
In races where Republicans have a plan of attack to push VBM to low propensity R’s and to deliver persuasion to I’s who’ve requested, we win.
It’s not complicated
SHOCKING RESULTS: GOP loses special senate election in ruby red Lancaster, PA
Here's the email I just sent to the Citizens Alliance family with my thoughts.
🧵
Michigan, in this new era of leadership, we will restore trust in government, ensure value for your taxpayer dollars, and fight to make life easier for all our workers and their families.
It’s an honor to serve you — let’s get to work!
People don’t realize that Mike McCarthy is actually a free agent & can sign anywhere…are we SURE he wants to go back to Dallas?
The Chicago Bears should be lurking around…it may sound crazy, but hear me out.
-Knows division well
-Develops QB almost better than anyone
-Leader
@cutlerscott@HealthEquity One of your first orders of business should be cleaning up the HSA replacement card process because it's ungodly slow, opaque, and even your customer service reps can't explain it. Something this simple shouldn't be this hard.
I look forward to serving as speaker of the House.
With our new majority, we'll bring balance to state government, restore oversight efforts, make life more affordable, keep our communities safe, and deliver the value and services that taxpayers expect.
Folks, I was already pretty sure that Frank Thomas was the greatest right-handed hitter of the 1990s, but it turns out he was actually a lot more than that.
Over a 10-year period from 1991 to 2000, the Big Hurt's average season –– not per 162 games, but literally his average season over the course of the decade –– was a .320/.439/.581 slash line (1.020 OPS) with 35 2B, 34 HR, 115 RBI, 114 BB, and 307 TB while striking out just 78 times.
Here's an entire list of everyone who has ever had even one season with at least a .320 BA, 1.020 OPS, 35 2B, 30 HR, 115 RBI, 110 BB, and fewer than 80 strikeouts:
• Ted Williams
• Lou Gehrig
• Albert Pujols
• Todd Helton
• Barry Bonds
• Mel Ott
• Babe Ruth
Pretty good list.
Today, I wanna show gratitude.
First & Foremost, thank you Lovie Smith. Knowing the Texans would fire him no matter what, he had 0 reason to tank, and went out with a BANG! Once a Bear, always a Bear.
Secondly, I wanna thank Davis Mills. Dude pulled off the craziest miracle drive I’ve ever witnessed with my own two eyes.
Last but not least, I wanna think David Tepper & the Carolina Panthers. The incompetence & desperation may negatively impact Panthers fans, but man, did you guys change the entire course of the Bears franchise and impacted potentially millions of lives.
Today, the Bears finally get the QB right with the most divine intervention possible 🥂
