@DeputyMitchell @pussseycat @fesshole It depends on the gift. If the kid wants ie or has it too, they may remember. The saving grace of this parent may be that the parents don't show their kids the toy they are giving as a gift so their kid doesn't ask for (another) one for themselves.

@AgentP22 It worked in Portugal... Plus, legalising w**d was a major economy boost of several US states (if not all of them who did), so it might not be a bad shout. People who want that stuff will get it, legal or not. This could make it safer as people won't fear seeking help.

Nothing is stopping you from meeting people and being social, either in your area (my local community does gardening, for example), or by casting a wider net, ie joining activities on apps like Meet up. Social interaction does not HAVE TO mean with work colleagues.

@myirishnews @Martha_Gill Not to mention, workplace romances are often not that well viewed because they can make things awkward when they end. There are plenty of ways (and apps, like you said) to meet people that don't imply WFO

@Martha_Gill Surely a columnist works from the office, 9-5, M-F? Doubtful. If so, you'd know people value their work-life balance, saving money, sleeping more, and having social contact with people they WANT to spend time with, etc over being stuck in an office...

Equity recognizes the different circumstances and allocates the exact resources & opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome.

@Trailblaz3r1 @fesshole Pls no. We to go gigs for the music. Ppl who mosh often ruin their experience, especially since they never mosh at the back. It's always somewhere in the first 15 rows that the moshing starts. There's rooms you can rent by the hour for destruction purposes. Pls do that instead.

@haydenlage5 @GiaMMacool People change. A person who is right for you in your 20s (when say both partners want to travel a lot) may be completely unsuitable in your 40s when some want to settle down. Also, human brains aren't fully developed until age 25+ so anyone marrying before is likely to regret it

@GiaMMacool It's the 21st century... Leadership is very much something women have been getting more and move involved in for the past... Century or so. How come no one told you? Heck, many households have the Mom providing leadership & Dad providing the nurturing. Gender roles are so 1800s.
