The Right failed because its intellectual apparatus reorganized around defending Trump and his actions at all costs. When we lost the innovation that we had from being mad at everyone all the time we (as cliched as it is) lost da yoof.

The dissident right had already really overstayed its leave in the public mind. The next time the Right is ascendant in culture, which may not be for years at least, we have to be much more precise. I don't think we can risk tying ourselves to such a political movement again.
