Dear @Zomato,

Whenever someone complains about the food, you have the same excuse “We have no control over it. The food is prepared by the restaurant and the price is set by the restaurant.”

Then, how will Zomato verify that the paneer tikka masala delivered through zomato is actually made using real paneer?

If a restaurant is using analogue paneer or something else, who will verify it?

When someone complains, you ask them to email [email protected], and then no response.

Give me 1 solid reason to believe that the paneer tikka sold through your platform is actually made using real paneer.

BTW, my complaint has been pending since 15 August.

Tight slap on the face of Udupi Swaad Restaurant by the Bombay High Court.

Restaurant's license was suspended by the FDA so they went to the High Court for relief.

Judges: You were using banned analogue paneer.

Restaurant: But sir, they suspended our license without issuing any improvement notice.

Judges: You didn't mention on the menu that you were not using real paneer. You are making people eat something rotten by making them believe it is paneer, and you are saying that an improvement notice should have been given to you?

Restaurant: Sorry, sir. We will not use analogue paneer again.

Judges: You need to suffer for some time. You are making people suffer by using analogue paneer without declaring it. Now, you just suffer for some time.

Restaurant: Please sir we have suffered a loss of revenue and reputation.

Judge: So what? Wait for the FDA to file a reply. Next hearing on September 7.

Relief denied.
