Dao Warriors under #SpearCorps organised Battle of #Walong presentations across schools & colleges in Dimapur, Dibrugarh, Namsai, Delhi, Pune & Mumbai during Oct–Nov 2025. The initiative inspired youth with stories of valour & sacrifice of the #IndianArmy & #AssamRifles in #1962War.
Large student participation, patriotic fervour & presence of veterans made it a fitting tribute to the bravehearts & martyrs.

The #Walong Cycling Expedition from #Namsai to #Namti, organised by #SpearCorps under the aegis of #EasternCommand from 24–27 Oct 2025, concluded with a solemn ceremony at the #Namti War Memorial, #ArunachalPradesh. Over 100 Army personnel and civilian cyclists retraced the historic route, paying tribute to the gallant warriors of 1962 #BattleOfWalong. Participants were felicitated with medals and enlightened about the historic significance of #Walong and #Namti, celebrating the indomitable Spirit of #Walong.

Lt Gen Abhijit S Pendharkar, GOC #SpearCorps along with Hon’ble Deputy CM of #ArunachalPradesh, Shri #ChownaMein Flagged off 3rd Edition of the #Walong Cycling Expedition from Namsai to Namti on 24 Oct 25. The three day event kickstarts with participation of more than 100 cyclists, civil dignitaries and locals. A series of commemorative programmes are also being organised as a solemn tribute to our gallant warriors who took part in the #BattleofWalong 63 years ago.

After Eight extraordinary days and 1,025 kilometers, the #SpearCorps Expedition arrived with thunder at #Walong, where Commander Lohit Brigade presided over the ceremonial flag-in. This epic journey not only honoured the eternal courage and supreme sacrifice of our heroes but also forged stronger Military-civil bonds with the spirit of exploration.
आठ दिनों और 1,025 किलोमीटर की यात्रा के बाद, #SpearCorps अभियान #Walong में पहुँचा, जहाँ कमांडर लोहित ब्रिगेड ने औपचारिक ध्वजारोहण किया। इस यात्रा ने न केवल हमारे नायकों के साहस और सर्वोच्च बलिदान का सम्मान किया, बल्कि सैन्य-नागरिक संबंधों को भी मज़बूत किया।

With renewed resolve and encouragement, the expedition rolled out and reached #Likabali, carrying forward the mission of valour, unity and legacy.

This spirited ride unites soldiers and bikers in honour of Walong Heroes and their echoing valour across the majestic mountains.
