In Oregon, 1 in 250 girls was on testosterone by age 17. A nearly 10-fold increase in seven years. This is not a natural demographic shift. It is social contagion — and girls are disproportionately vulnerable to it. Wales should be paying attention.
"The truth is, the only ‘unworkable’ thing about the EHRC’s guidance is the most entitled men in the world refuse to take women’s ‘NO’ for an answer."

@bookbird71@LauraPAuthor Plaid needs to grow up -- yes indeed, but when you have mature women like Liz Saville-Roberts supporting this misogyny, one wonders if they ever will. One can only ask, why?
@bookbird71@LauraPAuthor I would have thought that anyone who sought self-mutilation as the cure for a mental state (in this case, believing themselves to be the opposite sex) needed psychological help, not a surgeon's knife.
@WelshConserv@jo_bartosch@natasghar I'm sorry, this is playing politics. Everyone knows that one party's members won't support another's, regardless of the motion. There needs to be a cross-party motion! Maybe this is unusual, but it's needed!
@WRNWales@JournalismSEEN@barrydistrict The reporter can't help it -- can't stick with 'she' throughout! Starts with 'her' penis (!) but then moves to 'he' made eye contact . . . Trying to please everyone? Ridiculous!
@miffythegamer@ThomasWillett9@NotThatDragonD Thomas Willetts has had a deserved pile-on. But what about this guy? He's even worse (if that's possible)! What a nasty attack on a breast cancer sufferer.
@ThomasWillett9 'Tailored to their bigotry'? When Lush puts out a poster which supports cosmetic breast mutilation for teenagers -- even makes light of it-- you think women who have needed this life-saving yet horrible procedure should simply ignore it?
B. off, Willetts.
@MerchedCymru This is simply appalling. How has this been allowed? The new chairman seems pretty dodgy too -- rhe classical orchestra seems anathema to him. Interview in the PRS magazine.
An independent investigation into Wales's adult Gender Service was ordered in July 2024. It still hasn't started. England is reckoning with WellBN today. @MabonApGwynfor - when will Wales take action?
@GarySpedding@jan_murray Spouting the usual double standard. Women who have had mastectomies due to breast cancer aren’t allowed to be upset by a shop window display trivialising the whole experience as a lifestyle choice.
@IanBatchelor11@salltweets I'm more interested in what women can do equally well when they're allowed by society (men!) to do so. That's where 'equal opportunities come in.
@IanBatchelor11@salltweets Ian, women have always acknowledged men's greater physical strength. What we have pursued are 'equal opportunities' e.g. in workplaces where physical strength is immaterial. (And by the way, there are still many places which don't allow women in!)
@Bounce_BackLoan@tafkamichael I'm a bit bewildered-- the response seemed sympathetic, saying this (long-standing) policy is being looked into. Of course we need to wait and see, but where are the 'truly repugnant scenes'?
